Tractor Supply

Stopped here for a toy for my buddy's nephew's 2nd birthday cake (following all of that?). I needed a toy excavator that could fit on a 9 inch round cake. Unfortunately the toys they had were all too big for a cake. However, I wanted to review for the staff. As I was walking out, the cashier up front said "couldn't find what you want?" I said not this time. She just gave me a look and humorously asked, "how do you leave a Tractor Supply without buying anything?!" I told her that was a very good question to which she replied "we'll work on that the next time" then told me to have a good day! Some people might not have liked that but it's that kind of good natured help that makes me want to come back!

I wanted a new hoodie and thought I would give Tractor Supply a shot. They have quite a selection of clothing for kids and adults, particularly casual wear such as jeans and shirts. I found one hoodie in the right size and even better on a rack that said 20% off lowest marked price. So I picked it up and headed over to select some dog treats. When I got to the checkout, I told the cashier I had found the hoodie on a sale rack. He said," Yep!" which made me think I was going to get the 20% off. However, in the car I looked at my receipt and saw I was not given 20% off the lowest marked price, just the lowest marked price. Clutching my receipt, I went back in and made sure I had read the sign right before going to the cashier. He agreed with me, refunded my original purchase, and then charged me the discounted price as shown on the store display. I'm not sure why it happened this way, but this time I paid the price I was expecting. Tractor Supply is a really interesting store with quite a variety of merchandise. It's fun to walk around and look at everything. Even though it seems to cater to farmers, ranchers, and those folks who live in the country, there's a lot of stuff that will appeal to us city folks too.

This review is for the dog items at Tractor Supply, as I am not educated nor qualified to give advice about farm, lawn and tool items!They have a decent supply of dog foods, accessories, treats, and toys for canines of all ages. I usually shop for food at a more boutique style pet store, as I am very picky about feeding my dog high quality human grade meat kibble and usually that is the only place to get it. I did see some decent choices there in terms of kibble (I like and respect the Merrick Brand), although they also had some big box names that are known to have questionable ingredients and practices. There were plenty of toys and fun dog items though, which I did not expect to see at a tractor supply store. There are some larger lb bags of food here compared to other places I have shopped which I assume is for people who have farms and maybe quite a few dogs to feed. All in all, an interesting place to walk around with my dog!

Yes, it may not be very cleanly and yes, it may be older, but all-in-all, it does the job. My dad and I came here to get a new garden hose. Everything was really cheap in price. The quality of the hose parts seemed to be high. We will find out once we use it a couple of times! The lady at the desk was nice.

Don't call and expect to speak with someone that is polite or wants to go out of her way to find an item for you. Obviously you must visit the store if you want any kind of information. Seriously someone should teach the employees that scoffing at a customer's question is not a way to win business.

I don't know when the management changed at this store but they are rotten. Don't shop here, because if you have any problems, the management will lie to you, and then treat you like YOU are the problem. They have extremely bad attitudes. Good luck with that TSC. Decided to put it here as well, since Google doesn't reflect their true rating.

DO NOT GO HERE. you're better off going to the one in Iowa. This one sucks and the bathrooms are disgusting. I would've rather used a porter potty

Let's start out by saying......you don't come to this store to use the potty......it's a farm store potty not a rest stop......but if you needs things then this is a place worth considering......from clothes...boots and more to pet supplies......farm products.....lawn items.....tools......and more and yes even toys.....you won't be disappointed.....so if you want to go to a store that has about everything with Nebraska people that help ya....then by all means, stop here......if you need to go use a potty.....then take it to a Kwik shop.....you may even be lucky to take the kids here and see the baby chicks....it's a farm store in the city without have to stepping over cow pies....

TS is a great find for this big city boy, Chicago, now in the corn! I'm a sort of retired media person that got into being a urban farmer type & I've found TS a great source for feeds & seeds that I feed to my fine feathered friends. Must say I did have a sour experience recently when re buying some 5 gal pails of Red Barn paint.Seems they changed suppliers & when I tested the new product here's what happened.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LL9gKa-mGx8The store manager was great & refunded my money but they connected me w the Mfg. Majestic Polymers to try to get compensation for the mess their paint made & Majestic in Columbus, Ohio is being very troublesome to say the least.Bottom line; Don't buy the Barn Red paint from TS but you can get the old GREAT stuff they used to sell @ Lowes. It's Valspar Barn Red!!! GO BIG RED!!!

First time at this store. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, and that's with me looking around for a couple minutes. The cashier knew exactly where the horse stall mats I needed were and paged another employee to help me load them. Great experience. Will be going back.
