TownHouse Extended Stay Hotel Downtown

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Awful service. Booked through another app. When I first arrived. I realized I forgot my ID. Told them I would be right back. When I came back. They told me my ID(driver's license) was fake. I tried to show them my work ID, school ID and my cards with all my names. They wouldn't let us stay because they said my ID was fake. They could've called the police and have them scan my ID. Extremely rude, told me I need to bring the person whose ID that was up there. When it was me. Then told me to call and make the reservation under my friends name I was with because he has an ID also. No problem. We called the app. The app was quick to respond. Called the hotel. Hotel told them for us to go up there. We go inside again and he basically says they aren't going to let us stay there. Aren't going to give our money back. No refund and app couldn't do anything. Trust me I'll be pushing the issue to get my money back.

The WORST hotel I've ever seen!!!The smell is intolerable, it's filthy and old!We paid 72.00 plus tax and it's more like a 29.99 a night establishment.I'd like to also add we were up in the 3rd floor and noticed the windows opened all the way with no screens or safety latches! Don't think that's to code.Upon check out (3am) some lady on drugs was blocking the exit and was questioning us as to where we were going. The staff of duty was present and his concern was that we brought the luggage cart back in the building.

I was booked here as a guinea pig by the company I work for. I knew it was somewhere I didn't want to be as soon as I walked in. The whole place has an old musty smell. The rooms seem to amplify the smell. The ceilings have water damage as if the room above flooded with shit water. The furniture is dirty and damaged. Nowhere to put any of your stuff. Oh by the way it smells!!The worst part is the other guests. Got a weird out of place "wrong number" call. I swear this has to be a drug hotel. Stay away.

Terrible customer service. Was quoted a price in person came back to pay quoted amount and was told that it wasnt going to work but would be almost $20 more. Was told that i am wrong and wasnt told that price. Acted like he called manager and manager said he didnt care about customer service would rather not sell rooms unless he got what he wanted. Crazy experience , coming from hospitality back ground im blown away

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Dirty and in disrepair. Maintenance is lacking. We reported seeing cockroaches (or beetles as they told us) cracked and falling plaster, cracked tiles on the floor, broken appliances. A pest control service sprayed my room without my knowledge while I was gone from the room. Customer service was nonexistent. Rooms were not as advertised. Would not refund our nights stay. Would not recommend this for anyone especially families with children.

This is/was by far the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying at. The other negative reviews and accompanying photos are spot on. The office chairs are disgusting and stained, mold under the bathroom sink. We were in a handicap accessible room, the shower had rolled up towels in place to stop the water from flooding the floor. The hand held shower sprayed half the water out the side of the hose. There was no cradle to rest the shower head in. I got up at 4am to use the bathroom, only to find COCKROACHES having a party in the sink (no lie) The noise from the nightclub around the corner kept us up all night. Our neighbors were seedy as anything and their room and hallway smelled of something unnatural and illegal burning. STAY. AWAY. The price in NOT worth the stay. The towels in the bathroom looked like they should be hanging in a Jiffy Lube garage. Total nightmare.

In the 80's my family along with other families stayed here each year when NE State Fair was still in Lincoln. My mother stayed here in 2017 while my dad was in Bryan Hospital. My husband & I stayed here last night October 12, 2024. The rooms are always clean & the staff is always nice & very helpfu!! The rooms are spacious with a full size fridge & kitchenette if you need it-dishware included. We got a room with a queen bed & a couch. The bed is absolutely amazing! I slept til 30 minutes before check-out cuz it was that good!!! The price is right too-not crazy expensive. Definitely would stay here again!!!!

I wouldn't give this place even one star but to leave a review I have to. Me and my family had a fire in our attached garage so because of the smoke damage we had to leave our house for a week. Red Cross paid for the first 3 days then the rest came out of our pocket. They gave us a $20 discount for 5 days then made a big deal out of giving us the discount. Charged us for everything they could. Including $20 a piece (doggie rent) per day for my mom's 2 little Shih Tzu's. They were never at the front desk. They were in their room behind the desk. We would stand there for quite awhile for service then they were rude. And I forgot to get my cash deposit back when we checked out and of course they didn't offer it or try to contact me about it. Even though they had my phone number and address. Still haven't got it. A year later...

Had just arrived in town and needed a one night stay so I decided to give this place a shot because I'll be here for six weeks. Good thing I only gave this place a one night shot because it's stunk in my room. My room came with a full size kitchen all dishes were dirty the stove was dirty and had food on the counter. It smelled like Indian food throughout the whole hotel and had cigarette butts throughout the outside.Do not let these pictures fool you they are older pictures from about eight years ago this was brand new they are not new anymore it is very run down and being worked on. The kitchen is not clean the beds are not made like this the furniture is not new as shown in the pictures it is an old place.

Yikes! This place is scary. This was the only place I could find a room in all of Lincoln when we attended a Huskers football game. Two night minimum at $210/night. There is so much work that needs to be done to get this property up to speed that I would think just tearing down the building and starting over would be easier. We actually slept on top of the covers and didn't use the kitchen or shower. Both looked like I might need a tetanus shot after using either one. Our floors were sticky and the room smelled. Not sure what happened in the bathroom prior to our arrival but someone wrote HELP in black sharpie marker near the light outlet. This entire property needs HELP. On the positive side, a pawn shop and blood plasma donation center are neighbors if you want to go shopping or make some extra money.
