I had some time to kill before a meeting at Valley View Golf Course, so I drove up the road five miles and had the best burger that I have had in Nebraska since moving here last year! It was huge, cooked perfectly and was delicious! I will be back for dinner soon!

Biggest joke in the Midwest never step foot in there again. Med rare prime rib well done served. My dog wouldn't eat it. Tough! When I complained they gave me half off the 23 rib then proceeded to spill AI jus over my lap when clearing the table ruining my 100 dollars pants. I got a sorry. Never step foot in the fucked up placed again. What a joke.

Didn't know what to expect -- tiny little town of barely 600 population, kind of equally far away from Fremont, Omaha or Lincoln. But a dozen of us Wahoo Food-Biters clubbers were game, so we trooped over to Cedar Bluffs to find out. What we found blew us away. We had called ahead, and they seated our party in the separate dining room off the bar, and proceeded to treat us like royalty. We had the room to ourselves, as the other diners preferred the bar area tables, and the dining room is used mainly for their Saturday crowd, many of whom come for the prime rib dinner special. The service was excellent. The talented chef, young Jeremy Jurgens, of Fremont, really outdid himself, and the wait staff treated us like royalty, surprising our party with one-time complimentary appetizers and desserts to celebrate our initial visit. I had an exquisitely presented sirloin steak sandwich, a very tender, very tasty cut of beef on a bed of toasted wedges, topped with caramelized onions. The candied carrots side was out of this world. Others had the Wednesday special spaghetti and meatballs with crusty garlic bread, or specialty sandwiches, all of which drew similar raves. Prices were quite moderate, and we all got our money's worth. I am very careful with my rating stars, so I searched my memory for something to gripe about during our visit to Todd's Tavern. I came up empty. So, five stars, it is!

The chicken buffalo and Swiss mushroom were excellent. Service was excellent as well. Small towns still produce the best meals. We'll be back to this one as the drive was also nice out there from omaha.

Absolutely great food. The grilled cheese, which I order 10 of, was the most delicious sandwich I have ever tasted. Especially with the American cheese that I was gifted to put inside my body. The service was equally as great, the busser who brought out my food, Jarett, was incredibly helpful with the multitude of questions we asked him. 10/10 would come again!

We went back today. We have been there a few times since my first review. This place has a little more of a menu than most small town bar cafes. For example, there is a salad with grilled chicken, and a ham and cheese special with broccoli soup. The wait staff was friendly, the TVs all on to interesting channels, and the place was clean. The decor is good. The hamburger was delicious......meat, bun, ketchup, tomato, and lettuce. It was moist and not greasy, it was delicious. This place is consistently really good at being a small town bar restaurant. Well done, Todd's Cafe!

We ordered the walleye, huge portion but it was very undercooked. Don't eat in their dining room unless wearing thermal underwear. There is no heat in there nor is there heat in the restrooms - brrrrrrr!
