Today's Dental - Millard

Today's Dental is Amazing! I LOVE the people there! My daughter and I switched to this dental office because it was close to home, and after my first cleaning, I started discussing the 6 month smile plan with them. I had a few concerns with the program (pain, because I don't handle it well, being in braces at my age, and I knew it would be a big expense). After the consultation with Dr Rising(Tony the tiger GGGRRREAT dentist), and chatting with Amy at the front desk over the course of a couple visits about my concerns, I decided to go for it. I am SSSSOOOOO happy I made the decision to do 6 month smile!! I could not be happier! Best money I have Ever spent on myself, and I will have this beautiful smile for life. I smile at myself in the mirror every chance I get now...and windows I walk by! The pain was very very minimal. Actually only had pain twice for a few hours. Most people didn't even notice the braces which gave me confidence while wearing them, and I could not thank Dr Rising and Kendra(my main sidekick through the process) enough on the day they came off!! I love, love, love this office and the staff! It's almost like being with friends as soon as I walk in the door. They take an interest in your life and actually remember their clients and things about them! I've seen so many people walk through the door (especially having so many appts close together due to braces) and everyone is treated like they just had a conversation yesterday! Makes you feel good. If I could give Dr Rising, Kendra, Amy and the ENTIRE staff 10 stars I would!!! Amazing job!

Our family went to Today's Dental in Millard since Dr Newington opened his practice nearly 20 years ago. I wrote a review in 2014, and had nothing but positive things to say about them. Unfortunately, that all changed when Dr. Newington retired and sold his practice. Since then we have had nothing but problems with their very rude office manager, like billing disputes, quoting one price then charging more and being blocked from talking with the dentist. But the most current issue involving my granddaughter's retainer was the worst. She lost one, and was told it would cost $127 to replace. When it came in, they said it was $165. We ended up overpaying or they wouldn't have given it to us! From the beginning, she complained about the fit and didn't think it was working. She also thought it seemed flimsy. She wore it for a month before it started wearing out. Because of the problems with Today's Dental in Millard she decided to go to another dentist. She took the worn out retainer with her to the new dentist. The dentist took one look at the worn out piece of plastic and told her it looked like a whitening tray. Unbelievable! Not only was she overcharged but she wasn't even given a retainer! This was no longer just a billing dispute, it was bait and switch and poor dentistry. I've heard good things about the Today's Dental on Maple but needless to say our family is done with Today's Dental in Millard.

We left for a period of time because of insurance changes but returned a couple of years ago. Never thought that I would miss a dental office but I did. :-)Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Love it there!

Today's dental staff are the best. Thorough with explaining everything and gentle when doing the job. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the place!

Today's dental destroyed my tooth and my credit. I'm not the only one, I've read multiple posts from others who have had similar experiences. They overcharge, then deny care.

horrible! they claim i walked out of their business with a new upper plate partial. this is in fact false. they billed my insurance company $2200.00 for what? i do not have a new partial plate. do not got to todays dental. they do not care aboit their patients. they have $2200.00 and i have no new upper partial. insurance companies are now involved.​

Totally WOULD NOT recommend this location!! Dr. Schoeppner told his rude office manager to send me a letter to fire me from their practice because he recommended $10,000 worth of work on 2 teeth and I did not give him a decision THAT DAY!. I told him I would consult with the oral surgeon because it was such an expensive procedure and would take several months to complete treatment. he also told me in the office that I did not need the procedure immediately but if I started to get pain, then I needed to address it right away. I have no pain.Sooooo, within 4 days I got a letter stating, "They would no longer see me at the Practice and I needed to find another dentist", and there was no further explanation! . I guess because I wanted a second opinion on a $10,000 procedure??I called the office and talked to the rude office manager, ROXANNA, and she told me, "Since I wasn't following his care plan, he was not going to let me back into the practice and I could find another dentist."She stated, "I could NOT talk to the doctor and that he was NOT going to call me back!" UNBELIEVABLE!!!!I was a nurse for 48 years and worked in doctors offices almost the whole time. NEVER in my life have I had one of my doctors be so rude and unprofessional, that they would not even call a patient back to explain a situation like this!!If he is that unprofessional, and cannot even talk to his patience himself, then he is one SORRY DENTIST in my opinion. And also in everyone's opinion that I have informed of this situation. And believe me, it's going to be many more people that will hear about this practice and how I was treated.I have never had a doctor or dentist, make me feel less appreciated and dismissed as I was treated by Todays Dental. I have been a patient for over 9 years at Todays Dental and have always paid my bills on time, been on time for every appointment and been a loyal patient. I would totally, absolutely NOT recommend this practice to anyone, EVER!!!!

Although the dentist was kind, the office staff have always been rude. I think they're all angry or something. I would definitely not recommend this place if you can find somewhere else to go.

My experience today with Dr. Beeson performing a root canal was exceptional. He is a highly skilled endodontist who really cares for his patients. All of the fine folks at Today's Dental are terrific and helpful. I highly recommend their practice.
