I've been here twice and the only reason I don't go here more is because I live on the other side of town. But this is hands down the best pancakes in the game! I am a self proclaimed pancake connoisseur and these are the real deal! Handmade batter, crispy edges and not too thick or thin. These are just simply delicious! I came in, was seated immediately and had my food out in no time! If you ever find yourself in Elkhorn, most definitely a place to visit!

Chilaquiles! Nopales! Meat Omelettes! Waffles! Can get busy on the weekends...cause it's awesome! Great blend of Mexican breakfast options. Super fast to the table...strong coffee. Incredibly talented staff...always quick and accurate! Clean tables...that's tough to do with syrup involved! Thanks to Time to Rise/Shine you can now do a three meal + dessert Javi only production!

Came here with some friends and glad I decided to try it out! I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was fire! Very crispy breading and good flavor on the steak. The pancakes were real fluffy and fresh as well! The service was on point our waitress was very fast and nice! If you haven't checked this place out give it a shot!

Another great meal at Time to Rise and Shine. I absolutely love this unique menu and the friendly service I always receive. We went on a Saturday morning, and the place was crowded! We only waited about 5 minutes before getting a table, and our food came out promptly. The coffee here is delicious, as were both of our meals. The star of the show might be the cinnamon roll. They are so light and fluffy, and the frosting is a mix between buttercream and icing. We don't live close by anymore, but we are happy to make the drive for a delicious meal!

Second time going and it unfortunately took a turn downwards. This time I went with my husband for Sunday brunch. As I mentioned last time I was eager to try the cinnamon rolls and Churro French toast. We asked for the cinnamon roll to come out ahead of meals but unfortunately never got it and had to ask for it to go as it was on our ticket. The waitress apologized and brought us two for the inconvenience and told us to warm them up for the best experience. The Churro French Toast was disappointing. It was 2 pieces of French toast cut in half. It had a small dusting of cinnamon and a caramel drizzle but was bland overall. For the price of almost $12 it was pretty disappointing as it did not come with any sides and lacked any complexity. My husband ordered a chorizo skillet with a side of country gravy. He said it was fine overall but was quite greasy from the chorizo and not that much substance to it for $15. With tip we spent almost $50 for the two of us for 2 entrees, coffee and a cinnamon roll. For the quality of food and the price considered we wouldn't be interested in returning any time soon.

I was absolutely blown away by brunch here!! We entered around 9:30 on a Saturday and the place was PACKED! It never died down during our hour there. We waited about 15 minutes, and got a seat at the bar which was great, since you can see the kitchen and watch your food being cooked!I had the chicken fried steak which was the BEST I've had!! Thick piece of meat, FANTASTIC flavor and texture on the breading, and a great amount of their tasty gravy as well. I will for sure be back for this dish--especially since I am a sweet/savory brunch person, and this is the only chicken friend steak in Omaha that comes with pancakes!! Unfortunately, with how busy they were my pancakes were forgotten at first, so I had to take them to go. Any disappointment I initially had due to this vanished the second I took the first bite--these are amazing!! I didn't know I had a preference on pancake textures, but the ever so slightly doughy texture of these was absolutely perfect. My friend got a skillet, but I can't remember the name. It had queso and was amazing!! I am not a skillet person, and trying this inspired me to get a skillet dish at my next brunch, which sadly was not here so it was actually a disappointment. Overall, I would say expect a short wait and a crowded restaurant. It's a very casual vibe that caters to families with their kids menu/coloring pages, etc. This place is on the smaller side, but not too crowded or noisy at all. Service was very good considering they opened a month ago! Our server was typically a cook, and did a great job filling in on the shift. It was inspiring seeing the hard work of the staff and Javi himself running around doing anything and everything that needed to be done! If you're looking for GOOD brunch in Omaha, this place has to be on your list!!

I was super exited to try Time to Rise and Shine as Javi owns the place next door as well (Javi's tacos) and does great things over there. I was blown away by the menu options, flavor and speed of my service during my Friday morning brunch visit!I went for their meat-filled omelet, hash browns and speciality churro pancakes which you upgrade to for a small fee. First, the omelet was large, and full of the toppings you choose with a healthy (large) side of hash browns! Both still steaming hot off the skillet. The churro pancakes were sooo good for an added sweet treat to accompany the meal!I'll definitely be back for one of their homemade cinnamon rolls next time they are in stock!

Rise and Shine is a small but nice little place my friends and I stumbled upon. Parking was easy, and we were seated immediately upon entry. The service was great, with tons of hospitality, and the food came out fast. The drink portions are huge; the orange juice was almost a liter, which I couldn't finish. For food, I chose the Green Chilaquiles Omelet, which consists of 4 fresh crack eggs filled with our freshly made tortilla chips tossed in your choice of sauce, then topped with fresh sliced avocado, fresh crumbled queso fresco, fresh chopped cilantro, and pico de gallo. It was very delicious and fulfilling. I think their prices were reasonable, even though I didn't pay. Hahaha. Definitely worth the visit while in Omaha.

This was a fabulous place I tried with my daughter and granddaughter. They quoted us a twenty minute wait but I think it was only about 10 minutes. They put the cinnamon rolls at the front counter and I was sold! I brought home 3 for us and one for each granddaughter. I had the churro French toast but almost got the Tre Lache French toast. I sdisd not need the syrup it was so good. My daughter had the chicken fried steak. Granddaughter had the plain French toast. We all polished it off. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. You can see all of the employees hustling but did not appear overly stressed. Our server was spectacular and most pleasant. I just wish it were closer for me
