Throwback Arcade Lounge

We came here for a friends birthday and while the concept of the lounge sounded fun and intriguing, it was definitely a bust. The name is misleading, you think it's going to be like a beercade but it actually is like a dance club? There is a cover to get in which is fine, but I didn't find it worth my $ once I was in there. I personally think they're confused on what their theme is because it was all over the place. It's 80s theme, yet I literally hear no 80s music play last night...more like 90s and 2000's or current trap music. The drinks are ok, nothing to write home about and very sugary/weak Overall it's an ok joint that would do better if they understood and committed to their identity/concept

So much fun. Went here for my birthday last year and they made me feel so special! I also went here for my bachelorette party the year before and they really have some amazing drinks and service. Would highly recommend!

I come for the dance floor and throwback tunes (can we say yes please more 90/00's rap and hip hop). Staff is great too plus I welcome a bar that has late night snacks. I will say...if you want more an arcade experience go to Beercade.

Terrible place DO NOT BOTHER!! Security guard who was on a power trip insisted that our 4 friends "form a line" when there was no one waiting. He wanted to wand us down which is fine but the way he did it was so off putting we decided to skip it. He continued to berate us as we decided to leave. We had plenty of good money to spend but decided not to because security was such an A hole.

Throwback arcade lounge has potential to be something really really awesome. The drinks/shots are good. $6 for a shot, $9 for a well drink if I am remembering correct. Super awesome atmosphere and the perfect place to dance! One of the reasons why I gave four stars instead of five was because the bar tending staff was very disorganized. I went to the bar to order a drink and the person to my left AND the person to the right were closing out their tab only for a server to tell them they didn't have their credit card on file. I hope they got their cards back eventually! To the bartenders defense it was very busy and their first opening night. I am confident that with more experience and learning from their opening night they will be able to provide great service. PSA: they have a dress code so make sure no hats or sweats! Unsure what else is included in the dress code.

I had no expectations other than thinking..."Yay! A new arcade?!"This place is NOT an arcade. It is a THEMED BAR and that's it. $10 cover "because the games are free and there's a live DJ". Ok...well we'd easily spend $20 on games so we figured no biggie. Until we tried a game. There are maybe 15 consoles in the entire place. Not ONE pinball machine! All of the cabinets that say "Galaga or Ms.Pac-Man are not the original games in the cabinet. These original cabinets have been modded to house a cheap multi-game system that has many games.... Mostly no-name games and the joystick controllers are terrible. They need to NOT advertise as an arcade and just let those be there as part of their themed 80's decor. The space is large and they def are trying to bring in and cater to parties...like adult birthday parties with bottle service it's pretty hysterical as if this biz model was trying to be something that you'd experience in Vegas. Bottle service from a girl in 80's leotard...I give it 2* for the people watching.

Such a fun place! And the lady who seems to be the manager was so nice and offered us free colored glasses! The games are fun and it still has a dance floor! I was loving it!

I was drinking with my friends I paid for my friends and they deemed me to be too drunk and they let my friends in and let me pay for my friends and they wouldn't let me in

I have used yelp twice in my life, both times to write a bad review for this place. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.We only gave this place another shot because the Max was at capacity. Should have just gone home. The staff is rude and the bouncers/security gave us a side-eye as if we were criminals. The DJ was garbage, and the music was even worse. We had to play a guessing game each time a new song came on. How are we supposed to dance when 3 different songs are playing at once. The crowd was weird, and every man in that place had a staring problem. It was like they were waiting for me to buy a drink just so they could put something in it. We paid a $10 cover just to stay for 10 minutes. This place is so disappointing because it has so much potential. This place is good for photos, but not if you want to have fun or feel safe. I would not recommend this bar to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. Save your money and go to Dave and Busters or something. Worst place in Omaha.
