The Weekend Lakeside Bar & Grill

Fun lake side space with a casual ambience and extensive drinks list along a focused menu. Open Thurs-Sunday evenings year round, but with a more limited menu during the winter. I had the chicken parm sandwich which was a winner. Shrimp on the kids menu was fun.

Great Location! Great Food! Great View! Service is attentive. Food is varied and delicious. Great place for a birthday party or special occasion. Keep your eyes open for special events.

Decent variety for food & drink menu. I started with Palmona cocktail that was serviceable, but I didn't finish it. For dinner I ordered sauté shrimp with rice & steamed veggies. The seasoned shrimp were delicious-small in size but quantity was worth it! I was surprised to see Spanish rice with this dish, but it worked! They have a variety of steamed veggies & they were fresh!Our service was fast & friendly.It's nice sitting outdoors looking at the lake with boats that can dock here. They had an outdoor DJ playing your old favorite songs. This place is family & pet friendly. It's at least a 30 minute drive to get to from Omaha & off the beaten path. I wouldn't want to drive late at night with no street lights around!

Was a beautiful fall day so decided to check this place out. Fun drive from Omaha on a fall day! I really like this place. Love the 2 tier outdoor seating and inside was spacious and super clean! I love their bar that was custom made from sand in the area! All that worked their were more than welcoming and prompt on service. While we didn't have dinner this time we just had an appetizer that was okay. They say eventually they will have big screen TV's out on their patio!Nice to have a quiet good view of the lake while enjoying the fall weather and a little bit of country driving. Can't wait to go back again!

While our server was literally doing his best, running around like crazy, our food took FOREVER. Like over 1 hour for simple items like chicken tacos, burgers, and grilled chicken salad. They were out of a lot of the menu items. I would not recommend going hungry and expect long waits! The food was decent, typical bar food but definitely not worth the wait for our hungry group!

Eat and drink lakeside! Great service. Worth the trip. Only thing you need is a couple tvs on the patio to watch football.
