The Vacuum Company

We brought out handheld Dyson to The Vacuum Company and Corky Robinson diagnosed and fixed the problem within minutes. He also told us about the filter and explained how to keep it clean.We have taken our two Kirby vacuums, vintage 1950's and 1980's to The Vacuum Company for years. Thanks to Corky, both are in great condition and work just fine! Corky is an expert in all things vacuum!!!

I called today, to simply ask about a particular vacuum bags, and when I asked first if they had Vac bags, he immediately made a smart remark, like da ,you called a vacuum repair store. Then he went in to tell me , that I had should have know that they sold bags, because I must have gotten there number off of the website. I told him with that attitude, I would find the bags elsewhere. After that I found them on the internet, I'm assuming less expensive than in his store. So much for trying to buy locally. I will only drive by this business, never stopping!

I called because of problem with central vac. They responded with house call, fixed the problem at NO EXPENSE to me. Great service!

I have taken vacuums in for repair on three occassions. The first time he cleaned out the vacuum that seemed to be clogged up and charged a reasonable amount. The next time he offered to purchase my Dyson vacuum for a very small amount and said he would sell me a much cheaper vacuum that was in stock for only $200 plus the trade in. Of course, I passed on that. He then cleaned up the vacuum instead. The last visit there, he told me the cost to repair the Dyson was going to be $175 due to a part he needed to order. I left the vacuum for repair but checked with other vacuum shops who told me the cost to repair that was much less and that the problem I was having could not be related to the part he told me my vacuum needed. I called and told them not to repair the vacuum based on my findings, and was told it was already done and there would be no charge this time. Very odd. Twice they were supposed to call when the vacuum was done and ready to be picked up but I never heard from them and was told they lost my card with my contact information. When I went in they had no idea which vacuum was mine. Cannot recommend.
