The Tree Surgeon

Ross and his crew just left my house and I am more than please with the job they did. First, back in mid-May I reached out to about 5 different companies asking for them to come give me an estimate. Tree Surgeon was the only one that called me back. I am glad that I got lucky with them, I had a great feeling about Ross from the beginning. They called me back the next day and scheduled an appointment for about 3 or 4 days later (a Saturday). Kayla texted me the day before and the morning of to keep me informed of the timing. Second, Like I said, I didn't get any other estimates, but from the people that I talked to, they all thought the pricing he quote me was very reasonable and that he wasn't overcharging in anyway. I was having him trim a tree in the front yard, remove 4 VERY over-grown hedges, remove a locust tree in the back yard, and do some major up-lifting trimming to my large maple. Third, they were about 4 weeks out on their jobs when I accepted the request and they got me in the exact week they told me. The price didn't change at all from what he initially quoted, and he went way ABOVE and beyond what I even expected him to do. The entire crew, there was 4 total, were so nice and considerate. They got here about 10:30 am and worked until about 3. They cleaned up the entire yard, driveway and street. You wouldn't even know that they were here. I had some areas of my yard that were very over-grown with brush, volunteer trees and other weeds. They took them out, treated them and cleared out the entire areas. This was something that we were just dreading doing in the future and he just took care of all of it. You can tell that the entire crew wants to make sure that their customers are happy and will go above and beyond to make that happen.

Ross and his team were awesome. Showed up when they were supposed to and did an amazing job on ours and the neighbors trees. Once they were done trimming they cleaned everything up leaves included. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I wanted a dying tree that was leaning over my home cut and the stump ground down. I contacted this company and they came out the first time and removed the tree breaking a fence coupling when they took down my fence to move in their equipment. I emailed Ross and told them of the damage, which they said they would replace. They took my fence down a second time to grind down the stump and damaged the fence in two places. I sent Ross pictures of the damage and was shocked with the response. I was informed Ross came by the property but didn't look at the side with the damage. He looked at a different side which had the bottom part of the fence pulled up slightly. I had no issues with that side he inspected which I explained in another email. I have not received a response regarding the damage they caused to my fence the second time.I shopped around for multiple quotes and Tree surgeon was one of the most expensive quotes. I went with them because a few of my co workers hired them and had good things to say. Paying a premium for their service I expected the company to repair the damage they caused. The tree removal was really good, there was not much debris after they were done. My advice would be to watch them while they work to document the damage they cause or choose another service if you cannot.

I hired this company in June to cut my dead branches bring my trees and so they're not hanging over my house or my neighbors. When the guy came and gave me an estimate we walked around my front and backyard I told him exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it to look and he said he could get that done that done. They text me the night before they came and said that they were gonna come cut the trees. I came home that night and nothing was barely even touched. I immediately called the company and nobody answered so I left a message I then text the number back asking why the trees were not cut back and why they were still hanging branches branches. I was told what I got is all I'm going to get $1000 dollars. I then said we talked about everything that was to be done and a $1000 was all that I had. The person then text me back and said if you'd like to pay more we Can come back. I then said I'm a very unhappy customer my main thing was to get the dead branches out of my neighbor's yard and the dead branch is hanging over my yard in my house and to shape up the front yard tree. The person then text me back and said well you will have to pay more to get that and I have not heard anything since. Every time I look at the trees I get upset because I think about the money I saved so that I could get the trees cut back so my neighbors would not have to deal with my dead trees in their yard. I then find a company and then this is what happens to me.
