If you are not a quilter and visit this shop, surely you will want to be by the time you leave! This was my first visit to The Quilt Studio but certainly not the last as I am interested in learning to quilt myself. They do not offer classes here but the lady working that afternoon was able to suggest another place for lessons. As you can see from the pictures, it's a small shop but carries bolts of fabric in a rainbow of colors, shades, prints and designs. They also sell quilting supplies, patterns, books, thread, notions, etc. Since I'm not a quilter (yet), I have no comparison for the fabric pricing although quilting specialty shops tend to have very quality product made for durability. My purpose in coming here was to drop off a quilt top made by my great-grandmother decades ago and have it finished which is another service they provide. In a few weeks, I can post a picture of the finished product! Again, the person working was great in helping to offer various options and guide my selections since I am a complete novice.

Amazing selection and good prices... if you love to quilt, you'll LOVE this store. It's my first choice when needing a fabric fix. :) Plenty to lovely samples and patterns and oh so many bundles of fabric.

A bit confusing as it looks like a brick and mortar shop where you can browse fabrics and purchase supplies in person. It's located in a plaza with a storefront, but not open to the public. What's the purpose of having hours posted on Google maps if the entire store is virtual on Etsy only. In hindsight, wouldn't have spent the time driving here.

Very lovely place ran by lovely ladies.I live in Brooklyn, NY, and NYC doesn't have a good quilting shop anymore so it was nice to go to the Quilt Studio while visiting Omaha. They carry a wide selection of quality fabrics. I spent over an hour there and the 2 women (Carol and?) let me roam freely in the store and made themselves available if I had any question. The store was well organized and for a quilter, it made me feel like a kid in a candy store, the perfect feeling!I was a bit surprised by the prices (slightly higher than the stores here that carry some fabrics) but I appreciated the fact that I could buy 1/8 yd.
