I was recently visiting Lincoln, NE for a music festival with my school. While I was here I was able to visit The Mill. The ambiance was really nice and cool inside. They had some coffee accessories for sale to make coffee on your own. They had a good amount of merchandise ranging from clothing, to stickers, to cups, and mugs. The pricing was a little expensive but understandable from a locally owned business. I ordered 6 drinks for me and some of my coworkers and it came out to around $33 which is about the same price as chains such as Starbucks. The service was great, they use an older system of ordering from my memory. You go up and order and then you wait there at the counter for them to make your drinks, then you pay and receive what you ordered. They have a wide variety of coffee and tea options. They also have some food options from burritos to other options. They also have veggie and meat options for all of their food. I enjoyed my experience at the Mill and will definitely be back to try more when I visit NE.

I absolutely adore a local coffee shop, and when I lived in Nebraska, I loved to visit the shop downtown, so I'm very happy to see they have expanded and opened another shop! Their granita is something I regularly crave, it's so refreshing and delicious! I also had a piece of their coffee cake, and it was delightful. The shop gives off very hipster vibes and seems like a great place to work on your laptop. It's quiet and open and the counter service is great.

It's been awhile since I've been to the mill but it was just as delectable as I remember! I got an Iced Cinnamon Latte with Oatmilk.Spent some time in a quiet corner with my friend catching up on life and looking back on study dates here :)

It seems like all the mills are always busy brewing! This specific mill is spacious, staff is always so kind! Coffee is always hot which is nice and I also got two of their coffee beans; maple pecan and snickerdoodle. I'm throughly impressed as you can really taste the flavor of their coffee. For 12$ for whole beans is a great deal.

Coffee was awesome! I had a americano once with an extra shot and once without. The extra shot was extra good! Along with coffee, I had a scone that was very good.

Updating my 1 star rating with a 5 star for the always great service, atmosphere and delicious drip coffee, espresso drinks and pastries with a 5 star rating would provide the last visit with an overall 3 star. I appreciate Emily H reaching out and look forward to the next time I'm in Lincoln and visit The Mill.

Disclaimer: I don't drink coffee, so my review won't be focused on The Mill as a coffee shop. I have patronized The Mill several times even though my profile only shows 1 check-in. I was introduced to this business several years ago because a friend likes to come here when he needs to get out of his apartment. This was the first time since Covid hit that I visited. I enjoy their other beverages like pop and hot chocolate. They also have plenty of snacks. I'm pleased to report their Wi-Fi has improved speed wise since I last visited. The Mill is also friendly towards patrons who want to sit and use a table for a few hours as long as they buy something. A couple bad things keeps The Mill from getting 5 stars. 1) The outlet that my friend used to power his laptop was a bit loose. The power brick didn't stay in very well. This is not only annoying but I imagine a bit of a safety issue too. 2) The Wi-Fi has an error message when connecting to it for the first time. It can be bypassed, but it might scare off less tech savvy customers. Overall, this is a great place to study, do job searches, hang out when you want to get out of the house/apartment, or socialize.

The Mill was so highly recommended when we were in town for a wedding so we went out of our way to go there for coffee. We were sadly disappointed by the lack of customer service. We were the only one standing in line to order and the baristas chatted, wiped off counters and finally grudgingly took our order. The coffee was good! But I love the ambience of little coffee shops and was disappointed with this visit.

The difference between the Mill out west and this one...the barista made it very clear we were an inconvenience to him, after he took our order he never closed out the sale so I just stood there awkwardly while he quickly made our drinks and then once they were done had me pay. The drinks tasted awful, I watched him half steam the milk half shake it to froth up really big and then not measure shots. He only talked to his coworker and was incredibly rude when I tried to engage in some form of conversation. I can say confidently this ruined my experience of The Mill in whole.
