Server was kind & attentive. The service was great and didn't even have to wait too long, dining area was clean. Restroom was clean.& most important the food was 10/10. We got Jalapeños Poppers, Mushroom Burger-side of Sweet Potato Fries, & a Chicken Salad. They are not greedy with their proteins lol If you like a juicy & flavorful homemade meal - this is your place!

The folks working here are very kind and personable! The food was good, the service was good! Y'all come see them if you're looking for that good standard 2 egg breakfast! Eggs cooked perfectly, Crispy hashbrowns, and a nice ham steak! Wife had bacon and it was nice and crisp.

Our first here. Us and 2 other customers here at 8 oclock next door to hotel. Hmmm. Special request, surprise, of burned pancake and hash browns/onions, and 2 eggs medium. Orange juice drink, coffee. Nice lady attending brought a large pot of coffee. Unusual and very good.Really nice work from kitchen staff here. Pancake is nice dark, hash browns pretty much same but what really helped here is fresh chopped red onions on the tators. 5 Stars for that and my dark pancake.

Located just off I-80 in York,Nebraska, The Kitchen offers easy access and large parking area. We were pleasantly greeted and immediately seated. The restaurant offers accommodations for larger groups. The restaurant is clean and the menu offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options all day long at very reasonable prices. We decided to go for the fried chicken understanding that because it's me to order there's about a 25 minute wait. During that time we enjoyed a crisp house salad and hearty homemade beef soup. Our server was exceptionally attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend The Kitchen if you happen to be in the area for a great diner experience

THEY DO NOT HAVE FRIED CHICKEN. Don't make the same mistake we did. We drove here specifically for Fried Chicken. The chicken tenders were just ok. My husband liked his fish.

We hadn't eaten here for several years & decided we should today. It was a great decision! The place is clean & the staff is very nice. My wife & I ordered the Ultimate B&G. It had 4 homemade biscuits & gravy, hash browns & eggs any style. We had scrambled eggs. The portions are huge, the price is great & the food was perfect. You can order breakfast all day. Our waitress never let our drinks get low. If you are traveling, I 80 through York Nebraska pull off to the north and give them a try!

Everything about this place is wonderful!! They have some remodeling going on and it's still quiet and enjoyable. Great customer service from every person I came in contact with!! Thank you, for the wonderful breakfast!!

This is exactly the kind of restaurant you want to find when traveling. A local place with really nice people serving home cooked meals. Nice variety on the menu, but we had breakfast, which is served all day. The omelets and hash browns were excellent. We'll definitely stop in the next time we're driving back to Colorado.

Glad we chose here instead of Applebee's. Burger, chicken strips, and catfish were good.
