The Humble Lily

I'm in LOVE with this shop - it really elevates shopping second hand, plus it benefits an amazing cause - The Bethlehem House. I make my way to thrift stores a number of times a year and it can become burdensome to sort through overloaded racks while also trying to avoid items with stains or holes. The Humble Lily takes higher-end items and meticulously organizes, steams and ensures they are in still great quality. What's even better is here you will find some amazing designer items - Tory Burch, Burberry, custom furs and so on. A lot of items still have tags - I've found $400 skirts knocked down to $40. Its amazing.

A friend asked if we could stop in at The Humble Lily, though I didn't know anything about it - I am always up for an adventure.This store is associated with Bethlehem House here in Omaha. "Bethlehem House serves women who are pregnant and in crisis. Proceeds from The Humble Lily help to provide financial support to the mission as they work to educate their women to achieve economic self-sufficiency while restoring hope, reuniting families and building community."Now, admittedly, my friend and I were more interested in shopping than Mission, but, shopping that helps others always feels good, eh?We were so impressed at how clean, how organized and how fairly priced the stock was...this is not your average gently used clothing store.Jewelry was beautifully merchandised and orderly. Outerwear separate from skirts, dresses, sweaters and tops...shoes on racks and sprinkled throughout the store. This store invites you in and doesn't disappoint once you have stepped inside!The store is open seven days a week and conveniently situated with terrific parking as well.

I did not have the time I needed for this store. It is a large location with lots of inventory. There are great brands her but if you want a successfulShopping day plan on lots of time to go through all the racks. They are full to overflowing. It's a bit overwhelming. On the day I visited the store, they had just received a pair of UGG flats that had never been worn. I believe they were priced in the $25-35 range. Unfortunately they were too large.

My daughter was treated very poorly by the sales floor manager. She was told for a school project to call her favorite non-profits and speak to them about an upcoming event. The sales manager was so rude to her and treated her as if she was a telemarketer. She spit venom at her over the phone. My daughter is only fourteen. Shame on this place. Shame on that woman.

I'm from out of state. Just last Sat. I went there with my sisters-in-law. I just wish this store was closer to my home. I was blown away at the verity and quality of clothing, accessory item they had. Needless to say I bought 2 lovely sweaters, a fab. skirt and a Coach purse (real Coach). All the moneys go to Bethlehem House which made me glad. Go there, it's so worth our drive.

I was so impressed by this place! I really went to donate about 40 pieces of clothing but I thought I would look around too. I had plenty of time on my hands and was shocked that it took me so long to go through the racks and try things on (there's a lot to see!). The collection of quality, stylish clothing was much better than any consignment store I've EVER been to. I spent over $150 and got a ton of clothes, some of the items still had tags on them. The customer service was better than any clothing store I've been to. Even though I piled up the items in the items in the fitting room, they were so accommodating and kind to me. They came up and took the clothing I was holding every 5 mins or so. Excellent all around experience here. I will go back again and again! The prices were excellent also!!

You can not go wrong shopping here. Great items at affordable prices and if u get home and decide maybe it doesn't look that great on me. The money has gone to a great cause. Best customer service that u do not get at a retail store any longer. If your hands have a few things they take them and start a room for u. Best thing is the proceeds go to support Bethlehem House.

This place is so well organized! And much bigger than you would guess from the outside! The best part is that you can shop without guilt because it benefits such a good cause! All the proceeds from The Humble Lily go to The Bethlehem House which provides housing and support to pregnant women in crisis.

Really well-curated collection of higher end secondhand clothes, craaaaaaaazy shoe/handbag selection, all profits to an excellent cause = WOOHOO!
