We have lived here for a bit over 2 years, management has changed since being here and things have gotten a lot better. Everyone is friendly and works hard to get things repaired and addressed when there is an issue as quickly as possible. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the plumbing is crazy and there are things that make it a bit of a struggle. Also, the walls are very thin, it's expected to hear neighbors but if you can't handle hearing someone's TV or music, or even phone calls through the wall this place would be difficult to be happy with. The Location is amazing, and once all the construction is done I am sure the views are going to be gorgeous! It is worth a look, the exposed brick and unique look of each apartment makes this place well worth its small imperfection. Hope this helps!

Going, going, gone to the dogs, literally. New owner and new management company do not give a damn about the building or its tenants; they only want 100% occupancy at any cost--thus they now rent to people with dogs. The carpeted areas are always dirty, the trash bins on each floor stink and are littered with bits of garbage and trash--no one cleans these areas. The hallway paint is chipped and scratched and no one bothers to do the touchups necessary to keep the halls looking good. The building under previous management always looked sharp, now it looks sad--like no one cares. This is also reflected in the way new tenants are treating the building; if the management doesn't make an effort then tenants don't either. Although the owner is spending money remodeling the apartments (superficial), the old infrastructure problems are not being addressed. Thus, a lot of "no water" days while they fix the aged plumbing. Sneaking price increases on the rent, too. Insurance fee, management fee, and water/sewer/trash cost. Altogether a price increase of about $60-75 a month, while the management denies it is a price increase??? who the hell used to pay those costs???? those were all included in the cost of rent. I recommend you look elsewhere, plus the construction on the Gene Leahy Mall is terrible, the area is ugly during construction and the finished plans do no look much better.

Largest wall of my apartment is covered in visible drywall seams. Some of my maintenance requests have taken 3+ weeks for important features like main room lighting (need ladder to reach), water leaks from upstairs apartment into our walls, and dishwasher repair. It seems like the only way to get things fixed is to pester the employees, which isn't fun. We were told we were getting new appliances before we moved in 2 years ago; that never happened. The only wheelchair-accessible entrance was blocked off for longer than a month (thank goodness no one needed it). If you live here, you can expect 1 or both of the elevators to go out probably once a month. The stairwell is dimly lit w/ trash and broken lighting on the stairs at some points.

Stay Away, especially if you're a studentFirst off the building is great and the rooms are competitively priced. The location is fantastic, and the maintenance guys are the best. BUT, the leasing office is what brings this down to a 1 star (really wish I could put zero) experience. They blatantly lied to me about my lease and harassed me into paying for another month even though it was not what I signed for. They said it was company policy but as someone who worked for a property management company I can tell you that's BS. Also, before I left the apartment but after all my property was gone I spent a good two hours cleaning with my father and still got a ridiculous cleaning fee afterwards, just because these scumbags can. If you're a Creighton student (I was during my time there) look anywhere else unless you want a Regina George wanabe as your landlord and want to get hustled for your money.
