The Good Life Sports Bar And Grill At The Creek

Good Life is one of my favorites in Omaha. Their tacos are always so fire and they have the best customer service!Last week, I picked up lunch and unfortunately, my car battery died in their parking lot. After dealing with getting my car towed and fixed, I made it home several hours later to finally enjoy my tacos only to see that they gave me the wrong meat. I ordered chicken tacos and they gave me beef tacos. I called their restaurant and kindly explained what happened. It had been a very long day to day the least. Their manager was so lovely and sweet. She took my name to get a replacement meal for the next day. I called Amy at GL the following day and she made it right with me. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. They have a lifelong patron with me after that. Their food is absolutely delicious. They have a million TVs so you can watch whichever game your heart desires. They have great daily specials. And best of all, their staff is the best!

Service was great but food was really bad. The kids chicken fingers were beyond dry. Inedible. The Nebraska nachos were so gross. The chips had some queso that was curdled and a layer of burnt cheese on top. So many chairs need replaced. Leather all broke and striped. There's so many better places to eat in town.

The Good Life is consistently very good. There is a huge variety on their menu, and I can honestly say I've enjoyed everything I've gotten. The taco basket is notably delicious and the buffalo cream cheese pizza is a favorite of mine. The atmosphere is nothing special. This is a sports bar, and that is what you are going to get. However, service is always friendly and quick. There is a reason this is a go-to spot for us!

Food just isn't great. Service is very slow. Tried it multiple times and got the same results.

I have eaten here many times. Almost always good. However, I tried the club sandwich and I have to say "Why Bother"? A place that does soooo many things right to have a poorly conceived and executed sandwich makes no sense. Do it right or just don't do it. The burgers and wings are always good and I will be sticking with them from now on.

It's always decent, not usually incredible. Friendly staff, but usually takes awhile for them to stop back in. It's a classic loud sports bar inside, but outside is nice and relaxing. Even though they mess up my orders I keep coming back so you know it's not that bad!

We go to this restaurant 3-4x per month and usually get really good service and food. Last night we went to Good Life for dinner and ordered a chicken Philly and a steak Philly. The reason I'm giving this a 3 star rating is due to the fact that the jalapeño's I asked to be included with my sandwich resulted in a $.99 up charge (for 8 jalapeño slices), and the ranch my wife requested with her fries resulted in a $.75 up charge. None of this was disclosed by the waitress when we asked for these items when we ordered. The menu prices are fair enough to provide a healthy profit margin, I don't know why they have to nickel and dime the customer for items like this.

After a long weekend of partying and things I could have done better I am very appreciative of the Good Life staff for getting me home safely. I recently gave a poor rating and this has nothing to do with the staff, but my actions from a long weekend.

Here working from out of town. Enjoyed the food and staff until today. Young man behind the bar (bar back?).Sweatpants, I can see his underwear, grabbing himself every time he walked around the front of the bar. Nice family place ...I will NEVER come back

Came in during Happy Hour, was not told of the price difference of the drinks we ordered - 'Happy Hour Draws' don't account for the 'big' glass you order vs the small. I'd write it off that the waitress was young and used to not having to explain the difference - and being that I believe that the ownership should be paying their staff a decent wage without them having to survive off tips - I'm sure the lady was disappointed in our departure of funds.The sign says $3 draws, you order either a small or a large, not being disclosed that the '"large" you choose is actually $9 instead $~6 for being a "double small" instead of the $3 small - I also had to get her attention to turn all of the apps we ordered into happy hour apps. Which should've been something the system would automatically do bc if you didn't catch it, the waiter would've have even bat an eye. It's just predatory towards the consumer which is not sustainable to hopefully the ownership takes note as the entire neighborhood probably gets fleeced on the daily.
