The GL Lounge

This place is nice and I've never had bad service. I wish I had an option to give 3.5 stars because it's not bad but it's not amazing either. They offer an appetizer menu in the lounge and you can have food brought over from next door. The best appetizer they have is their bruschetta. It's really good. Their steak tips are all right but they are always cooked well done regardless of if you ask them to be medium rare. The sauces are good. Their food otherwise just isn't noteworthy. I ordered the salmon salad and it's served with giant chucks of tomato (as if one had been quartered) and a bunch of huge lemons. I guess it looked pretty but I found the lemons to be really wasteful. The salad itself was blah but the dressing was nice. My husband ordered a BLT and he liked it and the wings are pretty good too. The cocktails are great and so is the atmosphere. But I wouldn't come here strictly for the food. There are better places to eat. Note that they do not take COVID regs seriously. Customers don't wear masks at all and many of the staff don't either. And if they do, they don't wear it properly. Our server did so ymmv. Up to you on whether that's a pro or a con.

Omaha, someone new has stepped up the Lahvosh game and I was impressed! In the mood for something a little different, we gave the "lounge side" a try on Friday night after a movie. There was a two-man band playing some acoustic guitar, and a nice relaxing dark ambiance to be had. Our server, Hannah, was super sweet and accommodating. Great, fast service overall too! We had the meat lahvosh, along with the Garlic Aoli shrimp and some sliders. Portions were generous, and food was served quickly and with great presentation! I'd love to see even more lahvosh options, maybe a "create your own"? We'll be back!

This was my first time to the GL Lounge and probably my last. The service was good, our waitress always made sure we had a cold drink in from of us. My wife and I ordered seafood dip which came with little slices of toasted bread to spread the dip on. We had way more dip than bread and we ran out of bread. We asked for more bread and assumed we wouldn't be charged for it considering what they charged for the seafood dip. We got the tab at the end of our stay and were charged $4.00 for 5 small pieces of bread which is ridiculous. We won't be back.

The area on the west side of lounge was reserved to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. Samantha, event coordinator, was extremely helpful the day prior in reviewing the room layout, food/cake set up, decoration placement and menu recommendations.Samantha was proactive in advising we place food order by 4:30 and potentially add to order rather than waiting to reorder later in the evening. This was due to the Crawford-Spence fight being shown in the bar & patio area the night of the party. Kitchen would be slammed so she wanted to make sure our guest did not have a lapse in availability of food. Spot on recommendation as the bar & patio was overflow capacity. Samantha placed our increased order with the kitchen and staggered the times. First set up was on time at 6:30 and replenished at 7:30.Our celebration started at 6:00 and a second group who reserved the larger east side began arriving at 8:30. Samantha and Paul did not miss a beat in seating up the other party while taking care of our group. A dynamic duo for sure! Samantha & Paul were so accommodating. If a guest ordered a drink they may not have been available in the lounge, they would walk over to bar and bring over to stock in the lounge. Sam & Paul were engaged, positive and true to there "we'll do whatever it takes" philosophy. If you are looking for and event venue, GL Lounge is your place. You will be in fantastic hands with Samantha & Paul! Thank you both for making Ryan's 21st b-day celebration so memorable. Ya'll are awesome!

If you want to increase your odds of catching Covid 19- go to the Good Life Lounge/Good Life Bar.Help was responsive- and careful when we arrived wearing masks and cleaning table for us prior to seating- when 6pm hit the masks were all down around their necks or below the nose. Nearly every customer that came in after 6 had no masks- those with masks had them in their hands. Must be an "unwritten rule" about the Good Life that says "come here and you don't have to follow the rules" We had heard it was hit or miss with the rules and reg's there- Sadly- Good Life- you are now on our banned list. If you don't follow the rules as a staff or management- how do you expect to enforce the rules. Shame on the Good Life Lounge/owners/managers/staff

Love this establishment! The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing. I always feel at home due to Austin and Nick who add to the experience tremendously. Love this place! I recommend to all!
