The Gallery

We attended an event (the Yelpies) at The Gallery, and it was gorgeous and perfect for the occasion.The Gallery was large, open, and almost a blank canvas.This would be perfect for the kind of wedding or corporate event that wants to do their own thing with the space, when it comes to decor, theme, etc.

Where do I start! The Gallery was a beautiful place in the Capital District ...the event was very well organized and it ran very smoothly ..the food was displayed beautifully (presentation is everything!) the grilled flank steak topped with a yummy green chimichurri was my favorite...well seasoned and cooked just right. I enjoyed the crunch and freshness of the broccolini and Klamato olives for that added punch of flavor .... The citrus herb grilled chicken had a lightness to it..herbs made it even more delicious.another of my absolute favorite was the hearty roasted squash soup ...topped with sunflower seeds for taste and texture. last but not least the berry cobbler...cherries, strawberries, topped with crispiness .it was a sweet light dessert for the win ..then the best part that completed the perfect night for ME was when I was nominated for Rookie of the year ...and surprisingly enough I won...I humbly accepted my award...smiled the rest of the night...knowing my journey has just begun! We chose a table and eventually we had more people join it and we immediately had so much to talk about...more new friends!The staff was amazing ...the service was top notch ...the bar had lots of options ...well stocked and organized ...the Photo Boothwas perfect for making our memories permanent Marguerite who painted our portrait demonstrated how she saw us through her eyes...loved the retro yet sophisticated imagines she created for us!Thank you Meg for your dedication and hard work...the event was an EPIC and very memorable (especially for me)

The perfect venue! If you're looking for a space to accommodate 150-200 people this is your place. The first thing I thought upon entering was that this would be the perfect wedding reception venue. Not only is it a great location, the parking is easy, it's part of a square with restaurants and bars all around with a courtyard with a big screen tv, perfect for that reception dancing. The facility can even be divided to accommodate multiple events at once.

This space is extremely nice and perfect for a party of up to 200 people. It's cozy and had enough space for food on a buffet line, several tables in the middle area, side spaces for additional events like selfie stations or a small dance floor, and whatever else you want to house! The food was put on through the Marriott and it was fantastic! One of the best buffet lines I've had in a really long time. I'm not certain what the price of the place is, but its location is probably worth it! It's located right in the middle of the Capitol District with a lot of other restaurants and bars and places to play other types of games. Highly recommend this place!!

I recently attended the Yelpies awards here. I commented to my husband and friends that it would be a great wedding reception venue! It would also be great for a work event, small convention, or a similar type of gathering. The service was phenomenal, they were quick to bring out the food, replenish it, and take away our plates when we finished. The food quality was wonderful, the steak was cooked tender, and the flavor of all the foods was much better than other event venues I've been to. The white walls and black ceiling make it customizable for any kind of event style, but a modern or industrial style would fit the place perfectly. The bathrooms were a little difficult to find since there weren't many signs up, but it wasn't something that detracted from the overall experience. One thing that's nice about having a venue at the Capitol district is that it's close to other bars and restaurants for late night or after-event hangs.
