The Down Under Lounge

Very Rude bartenders who are LOUD and obnoxious and a very condescending owner who has a Napoleon complex. Always playing some weird cartoons on the TV and doesn't allow people to play the jukebox. Ive been tempted to call @NTS for all the cover band music and playing personal music to override the jukebox. You will have to wait to get a drink here because the staff is to busy talking to their friends. Have been asked to leave the bar a hour before a show starts. Bands get paid poorly because the owner is a tightwad. He does benefit shows and keeps the majority of what he raises. I don't see this bar lasting very long it used to be a cool place which is very sad. Also open drug use is permitted in the bar bathrooms and outside on the patio like we are in a legal state. Local neighbors in the area have tried to get this bar closed down for over a year. 2 stars is a compliment.

Walked in here on a Tuesday night and they had phenomenal karaoke going on...I mean, these people were GOOD. Usually I'll try my hand at a song or two, but I just sat back and listened to the true professionals.It's a bit small in here with a few bar seats, and some bar tops. There is a small room in the back with 1 bullshooter dart board. In the warmer months, there is a back patio with tables and lights. Otherwise, it's just a small corner bar with great karaoke!

I've been a handful of times. They have the adult juice bags that are to die for. Also, this is a great spot in town for the arts community. A big thank you to them for opening their doors to promote. Also! What a cool theme!

The bar is a great place to go the food is fabulous the drinks are fabulous everything is just fine

I was confused about the high reviews, but then realized that most of them were from years ago. This place has some of the rudest and worst bartenders in all of Omaha, to the point where I felt sick even tipping them (which I always tip regardless of treatment because I was in the service industry before). I got yelled at for not walking in with my mask, when I had it in my hand and was about to put it on, I then was ignored and wasn't served(even though I had my mask on at this point), even though my friend that came in with me and wasn't wearing a mask, was served sitting next to me at the bar, without a mask on. I said something about it and she yelled "you know, there are plenty of other bars on Leavenworth that you can go to if you don't like our service"You're right, lady. There are.Don't go to this bar. They over charge, and will literally double charge you if you ask for pineapple juice in your drink, and they are horribly rude.

It was a great experience at this bar. My friends and I came on trivia night and although I'm not a big trivia person it brought a good crowd in. The environment is more chill and secluded, hence the name "down under" but still a great bar to sit in and hang out. Great green tea shots and the bartender is super friendly. I would recommend it as a good starter bar or place to lounge around.

It's a great spot to chill. Heated portion of the back patio is helpful. Average age seems to be about 35. I know some of the folks that go here on the reg and they are all pretty dope.Good dive bar and you can even catch live music

Great neighborhood bar with outdoor seating! Good pricing, service, drinks, live music, and events. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Omaha!
