The Donut Stop

Great glazed donuts. II got there around 5:45 in the morning and was greeted by an older gentleman who was in back baking. The glazed were still warm. Good selection of donuts. Reasonable prices. The only problem was all I had was $20 bills and I put a serious dent in the change in his cash door.

These donuts are amazing! Worth the 35 mile drive we took on a Saturday morning. The ONLY reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of how unbelievably rude the two older women working in front were to me and my travel companions. If you can get past the crappy attitudes of the work staff, you won't be disappointed in some heavenly donuts.

Our first trip to Shenandoah and loved our experience at the Donut Stop! We got a fabulous ice cream cone donut with sprinkles and donut holes! Warm and yummy!! Great hot and ice coffees too!! Thank you for a great experience! We will be back!!

The best donuts around. Would be a five if the personalities of their employees or owner acted like they appreciate your business.

I moved to San Diego and took my dad John Wittmuss to the #1 donut shop in the USA in San Diego for his visit to see me and he said they were not as good as donut stop in Shenandoah Iowa. I have had these donuts and agree, although I think the local gas station chain in iowa makes the best but I'm no expert. Just thought I'd pass along the info that these are better than the best in the country :)
