Great groomer located at 40th and pioneers. Small shop with just a few grooming stations. All the groomers have been excellent to work with, and our dog looks great when finished. If you're looking for a new groomer, give them a shot.

We LOVE Catherine! I took my very timid doggo, Loki, to Dog Gone Gorgeous for his first professional grooming and we were VERY happy with the results. Catherine made sure Loki was comfortable and felt safe. He hated the blow dryer so they have kennels that blow room-temperature air through them--thank goodness! Loki's haircut was so perfect; she cut all the right areas at the right length and he just looks so perfect!!!!! She also got his nails to a perfect length! Catherine did an amazing job and will for sure bring Loki back! She also made me feel comfortable with leaving him with her, I could tell she really loved Loki! So so happy with his haircut and grooming! THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I've taken my dog to several groomers and this place is by far the best. You get a good vibe when you walk in. All the dogs getting services done are happy there. The dogs have plenty of room to play while waiting for pick up and not kept in kennels. The groomers always get the grooming done on time. I was worried at the first visit since my dog was scared, but after that he wasn't afraid of the new groomer anymore. Dog groomer, Carrie is fantastic with my dog. She earned his trust right away. My dog always leaves looking beautiful, smelling amazing and very excited to be picked up! You can tell if the dog has had good treatment by their attitude. My dog was practically prancing around showing off his new look and feeling great! He smiled in all of his photographs! I highly recommend this shop for your pets grooming needs. Ask for Carrie! She is excellent!

Initially had an appointment to get a grooming and Rachel got a hold of us to reschedule as she was having problems scheduling, she told us her availability then once we replied to her she has never got back to us and it's been a few days and have tried to reach out to her a few times. We were excited because we heard good things about this place but who knows if you can't even get in the door.

This was an excellent grooming place but apparently they don't like it if you go somewhere else in between visits because their wait is too long- they just fire you. When I contacted them I got a text back (after saying she'd schedule them and later said "I'm actually going to decline taking them back for grooming. Another groomer would be better suited to meet your needs. Thanks for your understanding." I don't understand why...I'm not ever rude or anything I sure hope. But, I wouldn't trust them with my dogs now anyway. They're unprofessional, unreliable and don't let you know why they don't want you back except you might have to get an interim partial trim waiting for them. Sad

First, the good news, our dog came our beautifully groomed. Now the bad news, unless you have a dog that is extremely laid back, loves being in an open area with a lot of other dogs, and isn't phased by a long wait, this is not the place for you. We dropped our dog off and she was put in a room with 5 or 6 other dogs just roaming around until it was her time to be groomed. Even tho we had had an appointment for weeks, she was made to wait for an hour. She was then bathed and made to wait again while another dog was groomed. We were told she would be there 4 hours! I think because I called and complained they made an effort to get her done faster and so she was there 3 hours. Our dog gets nervous at the groomers so I want to get her in and out as fast as possible. Two hours is fine, but 4 is not. When you make an appointment at a certain time there's no excuse for making your dog wait an hour. This tells me they are scheduling too many appointments. Things happen occasionally that puts a groomer behind but after talking to the groomer it sounds like this is just how they operate. I think this assembly line approach with grooming is not uncommon. They take a high volume of dogs for more profit. It is the dogs that suffer, tho, having to be there for hours at a time. Our last groomer who, unfortunately, moved away, took one dog at a time, bathed and groomed them, (without kenneling them in between while she took another dog) and then you were done. 2 hours. She prioritized the dogs. I'm sure she made less money but it was a much better experience for the dogs.

We were a client from earily on because it was close by the house, there are many groomers and seem to work different days and hours, no matter what time you call it is very hard to get a hold of someone ever and never have the same person call or text you back , or in a timely manner Most of the time, the many dogs there running around together in a small area not great if you have a small or older shy dog. The wait is long I drop them off hours before for the appointment but takes this long to get done, No one seems like taking the others groomers business away so if your groomer isn't working as often it seems harder to get in, when I stated it was difficult to get an appointment they gave me attitude and said I should go somewhere else because I was unhappy with them. I was stating a concern, but they are like that because it is a service in demand right now. Let's see if this is true later on. Lost nothing over the change.
