We stopped by for drinks before dinner and can recommend the following from their current menu:1. The Harvest Negroni was a fantastic twist on a regular negroni. The fall spices in it were a really nice touch.2. There's a mezcal old fashioned on the menu (can't recall the name) that's really great. On draft, but still very respectable.3. I had an off-menu dirty martini and was given the option of either regular or blue cheese olives. There's only one right answer here, obviously. It was solid but could have been better with a colder glass and a little more aggressive shaking.Love the drama of their bar with the tree. Despite being sort of an upscale place, the bartenders are friendly and welcoming. The vibes are chill. Great spot for a quiet drink.

I had such high hopes when my husband and I came to celebrate some good news recently. It was a Wednesday evening, the place was fairly empty, and there were two bartenders manning the bar. The service was fine, but not exceptional by any means.I got the Notorious F.I.G. and my husband and I shared a piece of the chocolate cake. To be honest, nothing really blew me away and everything seemed overpriced for what it was. The drink was very sweet and other than having a fig garnish, there wasn't a lot of that flavor in the cocktail itself. The chocolate cake was similarly disappointing. It was also very sweet and the frosting was actually a little gritty. The crunchy toppings were the best part of the cake, unfortunately. My husband and I are not ones to not finish dessert and we always take home leftovers, but we didn't finish this and had no desire to keep eating it or take it home.My husband didn't really want to drink alcohol this particular evening and there were some alcohol-free spirits on the menu, so he asked for some assistance/recommendations for a mocktail from the bartender. I appreciate him being honest, but it wasn't a strong selling point for him to say that none of those spirits were particularly good and he didn't really have many recommendations. The aesthetics are very nice though and with a little more attention to the menu and the recipes, this would be such a beautiful place to unwind with a drink and conversation. As it stands currently, though, this is probably not a bar we'll return to on our own accord.

A couple weeks ago I visited the pop- up Christmas bar at the Cottonwood hotel and last night, I went to the Cottonwood Hotel bar with my friend Lauren, and it was such a cozy, charming experience. The dim lighting created the perfect atmosphere, especially with the winter chill in the air--it felt so inviting. Our server was fantastic, and the whole vibe was upbeat and fun. The place had a luxurious, almost bougie feel, making it a great spot to enjoy a drink. Although my drink wasn't my favorite, I'm really glad I went and got to experience it.

A waste of time. First of all, I am local so for me to go I have to pay for parking. Not at all worth it. Second of all, we walked in and sat down at the bar and it started ok. The ambiance is chill and calming they took our order somewhat quickly but the rest of it was not. Third, the clientele is HORRIBLE! I was called a bitch when some random drunk patron was harassing my friend and I said to stop. The same person was clearly drunk, being fed shots, and the shorter Hispanic female bartender was trying to get with him. They were sitting at the edge of the bar flirting and we watch him had her a hotel key. Could have easily have gotten her fired the night we were there. All of the bartenders disappeared for an extended period of time where we asked some girl filling up ice where they went and she said well I am one can I help you and we had to ask for refills with empty drinks sitting in front of us. The drinks were average and the whole experience was a waste. I definitely understand some of the reviews that talk about the judgmental attitudes. I am contributing this to being in blackstone but will never be back.

Hidden in the basement of the hotel is a nice little cozy spot where you can grab a drink or have a meal. We grabbed a spot at the bar and Justin & Alex took great care of us. From making suggestions to making sure all of our needs were being met. I ordered the Miss Jacky and I was pleased with the drink. I also got the Halibut and I don't usually order fish because I don't like "fishy fish" however this was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. The folks I was with enjoyed their steak and scallops as well as the truffle fries. We ordered the cheesecake and I will say it wasn't what I was expecting and didn't really live up to what I had hoped for from what was described. It was good but I can't say I'd order it again. Overall a great meal in a great little spot that didn't require us to leave the hotel.

I love the ambiance and the mid-century design, but the drinks are definitely on the pricier side. If you plan to make this your go-to spot for a night out, be prepared to splurge. On top of that, the service can be hit or miss. When it's crowded, which is often the case on weekends, waiting for a drink and an appetizer can take longer than expected. All in all, it's worth a visit for the experience, but just know that you might be paying a premium for both your cocktails and your patience.

My husband and I stopped in for a late night drink to celebrate our anniversary. We loved the convenience of the bar being just downstairs. The bartenders last night were an absolute treat, so fun to talk with, and truly just good people. We ordered the Horse Shoe and a few beers. All were amazing paired with the beautiful atmosphere. We truly love it here and will likely be back before the end of our trip.

Sophisticated | Date-Spot | MocktailsSophisticated - Probably the best vibe in Omaha. It truly is an NYC or Chicago cocktail bar transported to Omaha. The table finishes, the mixologist, the menu, and the awesome tree in the middle of the bar give you an upscale, unmatched vibe in Omaha. Date Spot - This is an ideal date spot. It is a great place to start your night, end your night, or impress someone with an upscale first date with drinks. Mocktails - The menu has two mocktails - both are really good. Their additive flavor ranges, including blackberry, blueberry, and pineapple, make them special. Pro tip - They definitely screen the clientele. I've been three times, and the service was dependent on the fashion/dress of the group. WE GOT GREAT SERVICE when I was with a group dressed to impress. When I came over after a round of golf with a group in shorts and polos, we got above-average service. When I went with my in-laws, and we were all in t-shirts, shorts, and hoodies, we were ignored. Therefore, make sure you look the part if you get drinks there.

This bar is a whole experience! It has so much history, and it is a whole vibe. Our waiter Alex was great, he answered all our questions about the food and drink options. I ended up with the white cosmo and old-fashioned both were so good. I had the scallops, and they were cooked to perfection.I also had some of the truffle fries and cheesecake. My friends and I all made happy plates. This is not a place I could go every weekend because of the prices, but I will definitely be back.

What a great date stop if you're looking drinks and good atmosphere. We decided to make it a mocktail night and both the blackberry and rosemary spritzers were delicious! I didn't love their "plush horse" version of the mocktail, but I could see how others might if you like a drier instead of fruity taste. The service is a bit slow but perhaps intentionally so that you can soak in the cool vibes.
