Our server Sadie was wonderful and super helpful! The restaurant and hotel are both so beautiful as well. Our food and cocktails arrived with perfect timing and everything was cooked and tasted perfectly. Even the asparagus was perfect and amazing (I have noticed sometimes the veggie sides are sometimes an afterthought that don't get much effort but it was great!). Pricey but you get what you pay for! I had a large amount of leftovers as well. Highly recommend them for a special occasion.

Came to celebrate a birthday. The ambiance is good; I love the waiting area (5/5). The service was mediocre (3/5), and the overall quality of the food was excellent (5/5).**Service**: They should be proactive in providing warm towels for customers ordering the seafood platter. I appreciate that they offer warm towels when asked, but unfortunately, they smell bad. It has a scent similar to deep-fried food in old oil, washed without any detergent--.**Food**:- **Chilled Seafood Tower**: 3/3- **Land, Air, & Sea** (chef's seasonal preparation): MKT 2/3 - **Land**: Venison, medium rare: 3/3. I love it! It tastes like liver, but I really enjoy it. - **Air**: Pheasant: 1/3 or 0/3. The taste is good with crispy skin, but it's really tough; my plate moves every time I cut it. - **Sea**: Crab cake: 3/3.- **Beef Wellington**: 3/3. Perfect medium rare.- **Crème Brûlée**: 5/3.

This is the best steak I've ever had. Usually, steakhouses are pretty mid to me. But this one was actually amazing. The quality of the meat was so good and cooked to perfection. Our table all ordered medium rare and it was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. The whiskey strip has a great marinade. The filet mignon had good flavor and was a good size if you usually don't eat too much. Our waitress was nice and explained things to us if we had questions but was slow to come to our table when we were ready to pay.Valet parking is free/complimentary if you are coming to eat at the chophouse. It is quite pricey but if you are looking for quality, I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I wasn't familiar with this hidden Chophouse located inside the Cottonwood Hotel, next door to the Channel 6 network building. If you are able, parking is free in front of the Channel 6 building while paying parking meters are across the street. The hotel doesn't have a great visible sign pointing out where the Chophouse is located. Once you enter, when you see the registration desk, turn left and take the narrow stairs down to the lower level, and you will see the bar and host station.Reservations were made in advance, and seating was performed quickly. The server was good except for telling us the specialties until after the fact. I ordered a specialty T bone combo with filet mignon along with the cream corn. Wait time was minimal, and the kitchen staff brought the dishes personally to you. Overall, I had a great time. Both steaks were tasty, tender, and succulent.

Pre-meal: Reservations recommended.Room: Sophisticated, clubby and reasonably quiet.Picture-taking: Dark.Beverages: Nice cocktails and fairly priced wine list.Food: Wide selection of steaks and seafood. First rate king crab legs. Very good Caesar salad. Denver steak (bone-out short rib) is a cut not often seen - mine was aggressively seasoned and definitely undercooked but was cheerfully cooked a bit longer. The end result the 2nd time around was a nicely charred, tender, chewy and beefy piece of meat. Our side dishes were quite good. Dessert was good too.Service: ExcellentPrice: ExpensiveValue: GoodSummary: Sophisticated high end steakhouse that serves food worthy of the beautiful setting.

Wedding anniversary #2 and all I can say is the quality is still top notch. We had the same waitress as the previous year who remembered us (Sayde is a gem!) and provided the same impeccable service. The oysters had new exciting mignonette sauce (pomegranate and saffron/champage). My entree was the Duck breast which to me is an incredible value compared to their steak offerings (which are still excellent). We went hard on desert and the German chocolate cake was probably the best I've ever had and the PBJ Cheesecake was sublime as well. Already looking forward to next year!

My husband wanted to take me to a nice date night so we picked this restaurant because it isn't a chain. I have been to so many restaurants with $$$$ next to the name and this is the first restaurant that matched its claim. The Committee Chophouse did NOT disappoint!! Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious and the service was spectacular. We started with their Oysters on the Half Shell, which was incredibly fresh, and Smoked Pork Belly, which tasted amazing and paired well with the salad that came with it. For our main, we split the 56oz Tomahawk Ribeye and the Black Tiger Prawn. The Tomahawk was so tender and absolutely the best steak I have ever had. The Tiger Prawns were cooked perfectly, very plump and juicy. All in all, an amazing dinner that we both enjoyed!

The Committee Chophouse, situated in the historical Cottonwood Hotel, is a lovely restaurant for a night out. The restaurant has a very art deco style to it and I almost felt transported to a different city being there. The wait staff are incredibly kind and attentive, even helping a member of my party find a misplaced phone. Now onto the food review. Everyone in my party had a steak meal of some variety and they were well enjoyed by all. I wish the truffle butter had packed a bit more punch with regards to truffle since it seemed a bit more bland than I was expected but the steak was delicious and well cooked. The vegetable sides were good, but not amazing. The Brussels sprouts had a bit of an odd after taste to them although the asparagus were delicious as were the potatoes. The butterbrickle for dessert was also fantastic. Overall, a great meal and somewhere I would recommend to friends and family!

My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement here for dinner and it was the most special dining experience we have ever had. We split the Chateaubriand cut tenderloin and all the food was amazing. However, what made the experience so special was our server Ashlyn. She made sure to make our night as special as possible and was one of the best servers we have ever had!! Thank you so much again Ashlyn you're amazing!
