The Comedy Loft

A fun place for stand up comedy in Lincoln! There aren't a ton of good options in town for regular stand up, and (as far as I know) no one is consistently bringing in national acts like these guys.We went to our first show this weekend and will definitely be back in the future. For this particular evening the tickets were $15 in advance, and there is a 1 drink minimum. In addition to the basic beer/wine/mixed drink offerings they also had Infusion brews from the Omaha brewery. No food on the menu, so plan on eating before or after the show.I'm not sure what capacity is, but the vibe was intimate, with the comics able to easily interact with the audience. Afterwards the comedians were available to chat.The Comedy Loft is located on the second floor of the creamery building, straight above Indigo Bridge Books. It sounds like they've been open a year at the time of this review. Hopefully they can be around for a while!

Terrible place. Bob Rook the owner unbooked me because they wouldn't stop emailing me about a TV appearance that was moved. When I asked them to stop emailing me about it and I would let them know when I knew, he unbooked me. I already booked my flight for $625 and he refuses to pay me back for it. He told me I violated my contract. He's had many run-ins with comics in the past and even threatened to sue one comic for canceling with much, much notice for a TV writing job. I hope this place goes under.

Love performing at this comedy club its small quaint in the audiences are real cool with me picking on them!

Great place. They do an impeccable job with bookings. If you want to be sure you're not going to be bored by some hack who's confused insult comedy with just plain insults, this is definitely the place to go.

I would be hard-pressed to ever walk in these doors. I Travel for work and love local comedy clubs... But I absolutely will not visit a place where any comedian let alone multiple have been screwed out of The spot or pay they were promised. I'm gonna try and leave a zero star review

Wasn't a fan. Won't come back. Heard my favorite comedian got unbooked. Was looking forward to that show.

Intimate venue without a bad seat in the house. Excellent entertainment! The local talent is just as good as the national talent.
