The Caddy Shack West Sports Bar & Grill

Drank here last night. Drank a lot and for a long time. I just had beer, but others in my party had a few mixed drinks. No complaints at all. It's a pretty cookie-cutter, suburban Omaha bar, comparable to all of the other ones around. Nothing that really draws you in, or turns you away. A place you'd go because of the convenience of the location. The staff were nice. Brought us drinks timely. No complaints.

Just sat at the bar for over 10 minutes, 3 bartenders, not one acknowledged us, made eye contact, etc. Ended up walking out. I guess if you don't come there weekly or daily you don't get service.

Amber is the best bartender/server out there ! You'll thank me later for coming too see her !

Hole in the wall type atmosphere with delicious bar food. Our pizza was okay--I didn't enough the chunks for cream cheese on our particular pizza, but cream cheese is also not really my thing.Service was fast. Server was very knowledgeable.I'll be back :)

Spent Friday evening here. Staff was hard to decipher, meaning most were drinking and part of the regulars group. Often times, we had to wait for things like the staff trying to stop their "friends" from getting into a fight. We paid cash throughout the evening minus the food we ordered, server was wasted by midnight. Had to seek her out to close the bill and then she tried to charge us for the drinks we had paid cash for up to that point. When we pointed it out became an argument. Too much work for what should have been a chill night out, there are other options in town. This is a regulars watering hole and feels like outsiders should not expect much.

Thanks to the GH app, I decided to give this place another try. Heard things changed and I can attest they certainly had. I am a big wings guy and the chargrilled certainly didn't disappoint. Large, meaty, not soaked in sauce and really crispy. I added some hand cuts and it was a very solid meal. They are close by and this is the first time GrubHub app worked flawless. Top tip: highly recommend their sampler: huge selection. We did the soft pretzels, fingers and queso dip. Certainly will try something new on the next try. My only knock for not a 5 star, move your cig butt can away from the front door. As people wait outside all you smell is that. I tended bar for years back in the day, not a snob about it, just wouldn't detract from your food on pick ups.

Food is pretty good. It's in our neighborhood so we come for convenience only. I've NEVER had good service here. The regulars at the bar are taken care of, but if you grab a table and order food, good luck. Update: Back again. It's so close to home! Wife and I walk in, (presume the intoxicated waitress in the smoking area outside saw us.) We sit down, grab a menu, have plenty of time to review it as the waitress is still outside. Three other employees at end of bar talking. After five minutes we leave without being greeted or anything. I'm writing this review at DJ's Dugout. Had a beer in my hand within two minutes. Caddyshack, an all around bad experience. Twice.

Regardless if they are busy or not let's say the two women who work there are not friendly. I use to come here from time to time and over the years I feel unwelcome. They will walk right past you and not even smile and say "I'll be back" - when they do ask you what you want to drink, they take the drink order and walk off. I'm so sick and tired to hear about how we "need to tip" if you're welling to go out to eat. How about the service which includes being friendly (doesn't matter if you're busy or not). If you don't like people - then don't work in the restaurant industry. Here's a tip- be friendly, smile and maybe you'll get more than 10% -

Food was just ok. Typical stuff you find in a bar. The guy that brought drinks was kind of rude. Seemed like he didn't really want to be in the hospitality business. The guy that took the food order was friendly but brought the wife a Reuben when she ordered a patty melt. Guess it's more a locals bar. Decent but probably won't be back

As much as this pains me to write this, I'm hoping they read this and realize they have a problem. We were there this past weekend and needless to say the service was horrible. The guy working behind the bar was a total jerk, not friendly and frankly I could have had a better conversation with a light pole. Classless a-hole.been coming here for years and this is a bad as it gets it as bad as I've seen it.luckily there is a new bar opening up called refs soon, hoping it will be better than this place. I can tell you, a lot of people are sick of caddy shack because or the attitudes and are waiting for refs to open.''this place is garbage and most everyone that I speak to int eh area, agree. Do yourself a favor, go to another bar.
