Local bookstore with clean bathrooms and a great selection. The kids section is adorable too. I love the focus on local authors, book clubs and signing events

The Bookworm is a great independent bookstore at 90th & Center. I have used their website to look for and order books many times. I've also gone to the store to browse or pick up a specific item. The employees are very knowledgeable and can quickly locate what you are looking for. Today when I went to pick up a book, I couldn't find it, but the clerk took me to the exact spot.The children's area is small but mighty. There are classics, new books, fiction, nonfiction and even games and toys. The bookclub wall in the main section has books that various book clubs are reading as well as staff picks. At this time of year there are a lot of seasonal items and gifts of various types. The store is also pet friendly with treats for dogs. Once I was there with my exuberant lab who knocked down a display. The staff was very gracious about it, but I won't be bringing my dog again, just me. After all, I'm the reader, not him!

I like that dogs are allowed in and that the bathrooms are equipped with the essentials every bathroom need.!!

Tons of books, games, gifts and more. They have the cutest kids book and large separate section that is very inviting. They had some ARC books wrapped as mystery buys and I can wait to share them with my niece (had age recommendations and general info written on tag to help)

They have an amazing selection, but I found that it's kind of expensive. If you don't mind paying a higher amount you'll probably like it.

Independent book stores come in two varieties. One is a cluttered mess with dusty secondhand books stuffed on shelves, stacked on floors, and shoved anywhere else the staff can find. The other is clean and well-organized with a focus on new books and releases. While both types of stores are great, The Bookworm definitely falls into the latter.I had a few minutes to spare before an event at a nearby business, so I popped in to check out The Bookworm's newish digs. The store is really nice. There were laid-back English-major types working. The selection spanned from new pop culture releases to lit classics to throwaway fiction paperbacks. Even a few comics in the humor section. You'll also find greeting cards and other small gifts as well as a couple spots where you can pull up a seat and read.All-in-all a great book store. If you made it this far in my review, that's pretty cool! I tried my best to make this one well-written. Let me know what you think of this review over at booksarekewl.net.

Staff are always super helpful during visits. I've also ordered online multiple times for specialty/niche titles and the helpfulness and customer service of staff has been outstanding. Really appreciate their 2020 modifications to keep staff and customers as safe as possible.

Very friendly staff. Super cute local bookstore! Love the mystery ARCs and the fact they donate the sales to charity.

Great service very helpful friendly. We went up to the counter to ask about an author and the lady took right to the area and stayed with us help make the choice we wanted.

The bookworm has a great selection of books without being overly large or overwhelming and the staff is very friendly and helpful. it's a great place to shop for anyone who loves to read.
