The Bob Devaney Sports Center

This is a beautiful facility for indoor track and volleyball. There are locker rooms for the teams inside as well as the coaches. Parking is very strict and they will warn you through signs that they will tow your vehicle without a valid permit. The facility has a weight room for the student-athletes located inside a separate room. Trash cans were full of trash this morning from a previous indoor track meet but the crew was starting to dump the canisters while I was in the facility. Security monitors who comes in through the doors through their window station in the front.

We came to see the amazing Husker Volleyball team play Penn State and it was INCREDIBLE Oh MY GOSH, what a venue to spectate this team in. This is a perfect season so the seats we're filled to the brim. We sat in the last row before the standing room only section and still had a great vantage point. The crowds can get so loud and the tv's and music is really well done. I liked the little merch store on the main level, and there are ample concessions!there are many parking lots and parking passes also available for purchase. The team directing everyone from outside to inside is so nice and friendly. It's definitely a huge arena that isn't intimidating.

I used to come here all the time to take pictures of basketball games for the Daily Nebraskan. I think it's a pretty decent sports venue.It's not huge, but it's got a sufficient seating capacity. The staff are usually pretty helpful and courteous. Plus it's a nice, clean facility.

We came here for the first time yesterday to watch the #6 Huskers take on Penn State in gymnastics. It was much better than I could have expected!I've been to several meets in the past, most of them at the USAG level (and one at the collegiate level-Rutgers). This might be one of the best ones we have ever been too...In short, we had SUCH a great time! The crowd was absolutely amazing! There must have been over 400 people at that meet, and they had cheerleaders! I'm not from Nebraska, but each time I go to a sporting event I'm always impressed by the enthusiasm!In terms of the venue, there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The place was clean and well taken care of. We were also easily able to switch seats so we could sit by all of the events for the meet. The big screens in the arena were pretty impressive (and helpful for watching replays). I was also relatively impressed by the snacks. Most food was around $3, including cookie dough bites, which I am super regretful I didn't try. Parking was pretty easy, but they did charge $5 (which surprised me). The other downside was that they took about 10 minutes to locate our tickets that we purchased online the day before. My advice would be to come without tickets since many families seem to have 5-passes and are willing to let you come in for free with them. Overall, pretty good selection for a concessions stand, good venue, and awesome fans. We are definitely coming back in the future to watch more meets!

Great venue for sports. Parking is close and decently priced. I suppose the price is dependent on the event going on there. Comfortable seats. Nice clean bathrooms. Decent place I'd say. Watched some wrestling there and it was very nice.

Do not! get tickets if you are are a student. Would not let us in even though we were all students. Worst staff I have ever encountered. Would not recommend unless you are going general admission. If they let us swap our seats it would have been fine. They wanted us to pay $25 on top of the $20 we spent on student tickets we already payed for. Very unreasonable and unprofessional. Would NOT recommend. :(
