LOVE THIS PLACE.The place is very aesthetically appealing with minimalism and earthy feels. The coffee is unique. The lead barista learned his shit from NY so you know it's good. The rest of the staff is so kind and amazing. "Shore thing" iced or hot is amazing. I prefer iced. They also host super cool music so check out their events on Facebook! Update 6 months later: the iced shore thing is still my fave.

I love this place. The environment is great! Coffee very fresh and well prepared. And really close by my apartment so it's a frequent haunt for me.But I guess it could use some more seating and power plugs for people working on their computers but other than that, it's great.

Alrighty I'm gonna have to give The Bay the five stars they deserve. I did mention that their drinks were a bit pricy, but after some further research on the establishment, I found that their revenue actually goes towards some pretty sweet causes. The community here really bonds over the events and atmosphere and supports The Bay's purpose and objectives. Next time I stop by, I'll definitely order a hot drink so I get a bit more bang for my buck, but I'll try to suppress my thrifty tendencies for their worthy causes.

Cool looking place but they don't serve decaf coffee or espresso. There are a lot of people who love coffee but can't have full caffeine past a certain hour because of sleep as well as those with adrenal fatigue or endocrine issues. I would be a $10-$20 per week customer but they can't serve my needs so I go elsewhere. Not catering to all your customers caffeine needs is bad business. It's also way too loud. Investing in some acoustical tiles could make a huge difference.

I highly recommend taking skate lessons at The Bay. The instructors are so fun and my 5 year old is learning so much. You can tell that everyone at The Bay really puts their heart and soul into everything they do. The atmosphere is magical, the coffee is the best in town and the staff clearly all have hearts made of gold. I'd recommend asking for a tour to find out more about this organization that's giving so much to the community and welcoming to all.

We started going here fairly regularly on Saturdays to hang out with our nephew at skate school (which is a really well done program for teaching kids how to skate if you're in to that). Even if skating isn't your thing, the gourmet coffee / snacks / concert venue are really well done (The Maple Pecan toast is killer!). The coffee is a little pricey, but it's hard to have a problem with it when the place does so much important work in the community. It's cool to see it go from a madhouse of parents / elementary aged skaters on Saturday mornings to a food pantry with a line out the door by mid-afternoon. The stereotype that I had of a skating hangout was turned on its head. It's a cool scene to see a bunch of punk skater kids setting up tables and boxes of food for a line of immigrant families outside. It's a total bastion of creativity and passion and ambition and so many other things that Lincoln sometimes lacks, you should check it out.

Best coffee in Lincoln hands down!!! I might be a little bias tho. The community cup is an awesome way to give back (it's simple) The staff rules & the venue is the only professionally run all age concert venue in Nebraska. The Bay is also home to the only public indoor skatepark in Nebraska.

I'm smitten. The values, the goals, the aesthetics, the skating. They even have girls only skate night last Sunday eve of each month. Love this.Sign the waiver online ahead of time for ease.Friendly, cool staff. No AC- beware. It gets HOT in here on summer skate days.My wish list:Update the online calendar to find all events, like girls only skate night, and other unusual events easily.
