The B Bar

A hidden gem of Leavenworth to enjoy a cocktail and some good live music. Service is good and the ambiance is small town great bar!

On a recent Friday evening, we decided to get out of the house and try something new. We narrowed down our list of possibilities and chose the B Bar, a new establishment that is located in the basement space of Castle Barrett.It certainly wasn't busy when we arrived -- two staff and two patrons, obviously all friends. We perused the cocktail list and hit upon a couple that looked decent. The list isn't too inventive, and has several standards. The space itself was pretty large inside, with TVs, shuffleboard, and space for live music. Apparently we were there on a slow night -- one where no live act would appear. During our time at B Bar, it did get busier, until time when we left and it was much livelier. Perhaps we just got there too early. I'm not sure what kind of establishment B Bar is trying to become. To me, it had the feel of a neighborhood place, and not anything that is trying to specialize in becoming a cocktail location, speakeasy, or lounge. Overall, nothing bad to say, but nothing outstanding comes to mind either.

Went on a Thursday night to take in some music and have a few drinks. The atmosphere was cool and contemporary, but with kind of a prohibition era feel to it in the lighting and other touches. We took a chance on the artist (Eve something) and we scored. Great voice - talented guitarist. The service was personable and excellent. Generous mix on the drinks. Overall a good venue for live music or just to have a few drinks with friends. Will definitely return.

First time I was there last night for a reggae night with Rhythm Collective. I had absolutely a wonderful experience with real reggae-loving patrons. The band was awesome as always! I should check their lineup more frequently!

Nice live music venue but overly-loud and had trouble hearing the lead vocal over the band.

Great live music venue and bar in Omaha. They have shows multiple nights a week and a huge variety of bands for affordable covers.
