The Auto Connection

My daughter goes to UNL and was stuck in California during Coronavirus quarantine for several months while her car sat at Omaha airport. When she drove car after sitting idle for so long her brakes kept making a funny sound while braking. I called Jeff at Auto Connection (based on AAA and yelp) being a worried Dad from 1500 miles away and he said to have her come in. They looked at the brakes and confirmed what they thought it was just some rust on the rotors from sitting. She got an oil change for a reasonable price and no charge for the brakes. Highly recommend these trustworthy mechanics.

A pleasure to do business with. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Good communication, reasonable price. We got a list of what needs done next on the truck. We got a thank you note, very happy.

The staff was so nice, they did great work, and were very timely. I needed my thermostat replaced and a flush of the system this winter, and I had had a bad experience at a specialized Cadillac mechanic, and was thankful that those at the Auto Connection were able to take care of my car. I would recommend them to anyone!

I have been to this business four plus time in the last year. In the beginning of 2024 they repaired my car and I have had to bring it back in multiple times due to their errors for further work. I brought it in once due to a check engine light turning on right after then had done work. they said the light was wrong and the car was fine. A week later the car broke down and they told me the car had 6000$+ of damages needing repair. damages that could have been avoided if they would have done their jobs right the first time. kind people, bad mechanics, go somewhere else.

My son took his car in for a power steering issue. Auto connection told him on the phone it would be $369 to fix. Once the work was done & he arrived to pick up the car, the bill was now $3,200! They did a bunch of stuff without approval!Definitely not recommend!

Originally came here 2.5 years ago when my car broke down while I was moving here. Since then I've been coming here throughout my time in college. They are always so friendly and able to help out. They are also so trustworthy and reliable when it comes to fixing my car & giving a fair price. I'm thankful I always had a place to go when my car was acting up (which happened very frequently LOL). A few months ago, i was driving across country and in Lincoln my "service engine light soon" came on. it was a Friday morning and I needed to find out what was wrong and fix it before I headed East on my own. I called Auto Connection and begged for them to squeeze me in. After some normal and appropriate hesitation, they agreed to let me bring my car in and said they would move their schedule around to fit me it. Despite being a total "out-of-towner" they did excellent work, quickly and accurately, and they provided a helpful fix for a noise that I had been hearing on the road. I had taken my 2008 Dodge Ram to two other shops and they didn't know what was wrong. I ended up taking it to The Auto Connection and they located the problem. It was a major problem. They let me go back into the garage and showed me what they had to do. They wouldn't do any work unless I agreed to it. I feel the crew at auto connection went above and beyond wile working on my truck. Hands down this is the best auto repair shop in Lincoln. The price was right and service was great. Gary B.

We were on our way back to Pennsylvania in our Chevy G-20 conversion van when the battery w as losing power. After trying a couple Chevy dealers, we were grateful to find Auto Connection. They were kind and sensitive to our plight. They were able to expedite a new alternator and had us back on the road by 10:30 the next morning. Auto Connection was fast, friendly, honest and professional. What more could you want? Very satisfied.

Parents of college students in Lincoln. Here is a great auto place you can depend on. Kind, considerate and very fair pricing. Good old fashion service. If I could only take them back with me to Colorado. A gem. My boy has someone to take care of his vehicle.
