I've been craving pupusa for a while and spotted Taqueria Limon. Wow! Some of the best pupusa I've had. They were also huge! The cheesy chorizo pupusa is unbelievably yummy, stuffed with chorizo and so much melty cheese. I also ordered a mixed one with pork and beans and it too was yummy. They even came with the vinegar cabbage side I love. I also got a couple pork pineapple street tacos and it was ok. Not very flavorful. Definitely have leftovers. Made fresh right on the spot - about a 10 minute wait. All for $10. Chips not included.

The newest addition to Lincoln's burgeoning food truck scene, Taqueria Limón is on the south side of Cornhusker in the parking lot of Drifters Pool Room & Grill. The Asada Burrito was really big. It was tasty too, though there was a little heavy on the rice and beans and light on the beef. Because of its size the burrito was still a good deal at $6.25.The Al Pastor papusa was very good. We liked piling the cabbage salsa on top.I really liked their salsa. It was peppery and zippy.

Decided to stop in for a late afternoon lunch and elected to try their carne asada burrito supreme. As it's December. The outdoor tent and seating were not available. I had read a previous reviewers raving about the papusa and was planning on giving that a try. Alas, it is no longer on the menu. It took about 3 minutes for them to make my burrito and was given to me in a foam box containing the burrito. Half a thin slice of tomato, a tablespoon of lettuce and a tables container of blended jalapeño. I was unimpressed with the burrito. Two 10" tortillas offsetting. About a cup and a half of unflavorfull rice and about a half cup of meat that I would describe as coarse ground hamburger. It was covered with an unremarkable red sauce and a strip of sour cream. I'm not really sure what the extra dollar went to in making it supreme. Red sauce or sour cream?it could be a variation in cooks, but, I won't try the burrito again. The national chains that build a burrito in front of you, do a better job. At least this time. I may or may not be back during the winter.

For a while, I've been looking for a place that has tacos, tortas and pupusas here in Lincoln. This truck is one of two places I've seen that has pupusas and they're really good! The curtido that they serve with them is really good and the salsa is spicy and amazing. I've had the tacos de al pastor (marinated pork with pineapple) and they're amazing too! My favorite thing to get here though is the burrito. You get to choose the meat that goes into the burrito and it is massive and doesn't break the bank. The burrito is so tasty, and chorizo is my favorite so far. I'm probably going to go back and visit then frequently. The couple who own and run the food truck are the sweetest and they cook everything to order so you know it will be tasty! If you're looking for tacos, tortas, sopes, burritos or pupusas make sure you go here!!

Tried the Cachete tacos, Carnitas tacos, and Bean/Cheese Pupusas. Very tasty across the board, the cheek meat was delicious. Their Verde sauce is less spicy than most places, but their red sauce makes up for it!! Huge smoky chipotle & habanero flavor, A+ sauce, would put on everything. Very nice folks. Will be returning, for sure.

Gave me diarrhea! I was sick all night long after eating a "paPOOsa" They are now a family joke. So I decided to sit and watch these people the next day during my lunch break. These people never wash their hands. I saw they guy who works there getting stuff out of his truck and carried it off somewhere and he came back picked some weeds, messed with the garbage can, and then right after served customers. Gross. I would not recommend this place to my dog! seriously! Not a sanitary place. I found out when they close, and I again tuned in for an hour as they closed up. They leave the food in their truck all night and it is not refrigerated. They recycle the old food. BEWARE! You may be eating somebody else's food!
