I see these truck all around town. I've had some good tacos from them before. Tried a burrito this time. My burrito was okay, the portion was great. Thing was huge! But the rice was real mushy and there was way to much of it. The pork didn't have much flavor. I'm sure it was probably just an off day. They can't have that many trucks around town and be bad all the time haha. Next time I'll just stick to the tacos. I did enjoy the service ! The lady was super friendly and had a great attitude.

Great location in the old 11th Worth cafe parking lot. The mother of all taco trucks in the area. My go to for all Mexican food, the restaurant or the taco truck. This well worth the trip if you're in the area. Chorizo Burritos and a mediio liitro Coca-Cola!

Love the taco truck... though this is my preferred location. Tacos, burritos, tortas, all affordable and amazaliscious. Yep, that's a word. You can apparently call ahead, but the wait isn't too bad. Cash preferred.

Don't know if El Rey has more than one (1) food truck or not, but saw this one near the intersection of Cuming and North Saddle Creek Road beside the Sonic. Was excited to stop and try it out, unfortunately the food I got at the truck was NOT as good as what is served in the restaurant on 24th street. I had grilled steak and chorizo tacos. Steak was really dried out and the most disappointing. The chorizo was pretty good. Food comes with a red and green salsa (both are good) as well as several limes slices. There was a line...which is usually good, so the wait was also a bit longer than I might otherwise have preferredOh, and the truck is CASH ONLY, so if you decide to stop...come prepared.

There's much debate about what's the best Mexican food in Omaha. I submit that Taqueria El Rey belongs in the discussion from now on. I like cheesy Mexican food as much as any San Antonio native should, but when I want the real stuff this is where I turn.Carne asada, carnitas, lengua ( beef tongue), cachete ( beef cheek) or al pastor in a proper soft corn tortilla. No cheese, no sour cream but incredible flavor from the meat marinated in Mexican spices as well as the onion, cilantro, and fresh jalapeño concoction that adorns these tacos. I think they may actually have a cheesy enchilada dish but you can get that anywhere. On second thought a surprising number of Mexican restaurants here have enchiladas in flour tortillas so this might be more authentic.

I could live on these burritos alone. $5 for a huge, delicious burrito. I always get the al pastor with no beans. It's filled with pork, rice, and cheese. Food comes out piping hot, so give it a few minutes to cool down. I've burned my mouth many a time because I couldn't wait to eat it. Along with the food itself, I love the combination of people who frequent the truck- you never know who is going to wander up and wait alongside you!

I went to the El Rey taco truck in the Kohl's parking lot. On 72nd street between pacific and dodge. I went up to the truck and ordered a cheek meat tortas. I got it to go and it cost 5$. She made it in about 5 minutes. It was very good. It had the cheek meat, lettuce, tomato, avocado, mayo, and a side of hot sauce. She was kind and gave me plastic wear and plenty of napkins. I would recommend this truck for lunch or dinner. Especially if you are in the mood for good mexican food.

Awesome burritos and quesadillas for a great price. A burrito the size of a Chipotle one and a soda is like $7.50. Great lunch stop.

Food okay, but way too expensive and they didn't give me $7.00 worth of my order. Not cool! I would not go again, there are too many better places to eat.
