Been to this truck a couple times and both times I been happy. Cash only here but the truck has decent hours as on Sunday they are open until 10pm ish when lots of local restaurants shut down the kitchen on or by 9pm on Sundays. The food been good and they have been nice upon ordering. Besides all that..... it's just good and a fun experience to pull up, order, eat in the curb, in your car or on a local south Omaha bench. A fun experience.

Been here a couple times now and I can say this place is consistently amazing!! Hands down the best Tortillas in Omaha. Super soft amazing flavor and they hold up well with the ingredients. The Cabeza is amazing and not many places have it so it's a great treat. Asada is perfectly seasoned with a good char on it. Al pastor has great flavor but is lacking pineapple.Stop by and grab some tacos $2 oooo I almost forgot. The Horchata!! It's wonderful has a bit more cinnamon than what I'm used to and I love it!

Of course, when in South Omaha, one must try at least one of the many food trucks. Most of the ones north of L St were 15 people long, so we headed south on 24th, south of L to see what would be available. All I really wanted was elote. Found this gem a few blocks south on the West side, and fingers crossed with only 8 people deep; stood in line. Requested three steak tacos and one pork, hold the cilantro. Unfortunately, only walked out with three steak tacos and a lot of onion. Plus, no elote on the menu sadly. Taste wise, a little salty but true street tacos! Bite sized, little, and juicy. Was half tempted to go back and snag a tongue taco, but decided against it. Maybe next time. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Stop #3 on the Yelp taco tour 2015!---[Behind a gas station and cash only]This joint was not "officially" on the list of places we were going to try, but we walked past it between stops and decided to pop in. With 2 more stops to go, I ordered a Horchata only and declined tacos, deciding to save my appetite for the next couple taco stops. The horchata here was ok, a little watery. I ended up eating here anyway- part of Matt's steak quesadilla, and that thing was no joke. If I were to come back here, I would order that. It was greasy, cheesy, and awesome--plus the steak actually had a lot of flavor and was grilled/minced to perfection. It looked a lot better than the tacos my compadres ordered, I have to admit. The dining area is quite large and able to fit more people than your average Mexican shop on 24th St. Also, they have a help yourself salsa and garnish bar (peppers, radishes, limes etc), which I liked since that way you can just take what you need with no waste. I rarely eat the grilled peppers they serve standard with the taco (most restaurants do this), yet I love radishes. Oh, and no free chips here. I know that could be a deal breaker for some people.Overall I dont think I would return for tacos, but I know if I have a steak quesadilla craving-this is where I would head.

El Chavo is my favorite Mexican food in Omaha. Specifically the torta and tacos. Great service. Very clean and inviting.

The food is amazing! The steamed tacos are unique never had them at another taco shop. They still have the traditional steak tacos and the salsas are spicy they way they should be and not just tomato sauce. I like the garnish bar, you get what you want which makes it easier. Horchata is the best in town, sweet and creamy. Definitely top 3 on my list!
