Tacos El Pueblito

Tiny, charming establishment. We snagged the last of three tables, but the counter seating was open. My boys each had a bean and cheese burrito, which they raved about. My husband and I had carne asada tacos, which came on homemade corn tortillas topped with raw white onion and cilantro. They were absolutely delicious. The boys were still hungry after their burritos so we ordered a plate of taquitos to share. They were fantastic. This is where we eat in Nebraska City.

Accidentally dropped by this place while trying to find food on our trip back home to Texas. We all had something different and we're all RAVING about how great this place is. The owner is cooking and taking care of us like our own abuela.If you are here, you must eat here. This is real, authentic Mexican food, like sitting in your moms kitchen.Texas approves.

If you're looking for Mexican food in Nebraska City go here. This is a small family restaurant with just a few tables, and about as far from fast food as you can get short of going to someone's house for dinner. I'll definitely go back.

Classic Mexican food served with pride and warmth. Their Tamales reminds me of El Paso restaurants.

Great home cooked Mexican food. If you are nearby, searching for a great meal, look no further than this little pink building. It's like being welcomed into Mom's kitchen for the best Mexican food you can imagine. I had the Con Carne Chili. It was so good, I wanted to lick the plate. Pass by all the big deal restaurants and eat here. You will thank me afterwards.

We travel for business a lot to Omaha and Lincoln, from the KC, MO area. We found this place on a whim one day, and every time we are traveling through here it is a must stop. The people that run this place are extremely nice and attentive. The food is absolutely amazing! We will continue to visit!

In Nebraska City for a couple weeks on a KHN residency, and I've been to El Pueblito several times already. Super tasty, super friendly, and a really good choice for vegetarians in an otherwise tricky town.Thursdays are the chile rellenos day. Go on Thursdays. And on other days, because everything is yummy.

Great authentic Mexican dishes made fresh from scratch!!! Truly a hidden gem. If you like true Mexican food and not Taco bell this place is for you!!!
