T & J Small Engines and Motorsports

I recently had both my rider mower and push mower serviced with T and J Small Engines and was very impressed with my experience working with Travis (the owner). He kept me informed from the time my mowers were picked up to the time they were dropped off about a week later. One of the main reasons I selected T and J was because they could pick up my mowers and return them since I do not own a truck or trailer. The other reason was supporting small businesses. I appreciated the personal care Travis took with each of my mowers and explained everything he saw while completing the maintenance. Both mowers were returned in better condition than when they were given to him, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they run in the spring!

I came hoping they could sort through their head gaskets and match one to my old Briggs and Stratton. He spent 15 minutes searching and came out with exactly what I needed. Then he said how about five dollars. I thought man that's certainly a good deal but I only had three dollars on me so I pulled out my credit card and I said here, put 10 on this and he says how much do you have there, I said three dollars and he says that's the new price, three dollars! Really good guys, really good company I would highly recommend them.

I would not recommend this business. I had them pick up a snowblower for a new carb and a lawn mower for a tune up last November and after several excuses and the mechanic breaking a cable (That I was charged to fix) it took 6 weeks to get the snowblower back (3 snow storms worth) and had to go pick up the lawnmower in April because the tuneup was still not done. To add fuel to the fire he charged me a $30 pickup fee for Pickup and delivery even thought I went to his shop to pick it up. Way too many excuses to not tune up a mower. And when I showed up he said 45 minutes and he could get it done for me, but after 5 months I was done waiting. Too many promises to be done...

Been with this company for years. Reasonable prices & great service - explains, demonstrates, answer questions, repairs done on time & right the first time. Recommend unconditionally.

Prompt service. Good communication. Very reasonably priced. Seems like a nice guy who really knows his stuff. Will definitely use him again for my lawnmower and snowblower repairs.

Several years ago I decided to give T & J Small Engines and Motorsports a try.I have been giving Travis my business ever since. I gave 5 stars because Travis is very knowledgeable, honest, dependable, courteous at a fair price.

Brought my lawn mower in to have the blade sharpened, replace the spark plug, oil, and just check it out. They said two weeks when I dropped it off. I called, and they said it wasn't ready yet. Several days later, they called and left a nasty phone message to pick it up or they would dispose of it. Bill was more than was quoted initially also, but they didn't justify what the extra money was for. Never going back.

Awesome Service! My lawnmower needed servicing. It was picked up, serviced and dropped off. So great for a gal like me who has no way to transport. Owner was personable, the price was reasonable, and the work high quality! I will definitely be a continued customer.

I rarely ever write reviews, but felt like i needed to in this case. Extremely dissatisfied with the service i received. Had them pick up a brand new mower that was having issues with the carburetor, I specifically mentioned that was the issue. I ended up being upsold to a completely different service, and they never even replaced the carburetor, after i told them that was the issue and it would need a new one. They refused to even acknowledge, and said i asked for the different service, so pretty much paid $133 for nothing because the lawn mower doesn't work and no solution offered, pretty much told out of luck, 'next step to get a new carburetor', which is what i told them to do in the first place. New homeowners with new mowers or mower issues, i do not recommend.

T and J small engine has always been my go to place for all of my gas powered chore equipment needs since moving to the Omaha metro area. They have always treated me great and are second to none when it comes to service and putting the customer first. Their pick up and delivery service they provide is something you just don't see many other small engine shops offer that service. If your needing your mower snowthrower tiller or anything gas powered worked on I strongly recommend T & J small engines and Motorsports you won't be disappointed.
