Swimtastic Swim School - Omaha Southwest

Came here for a birthday party on a Saturday so I can't speak to the swim lessons part! They offered 50 kids to swim for an hour and a half, each child had to do a swim test to see if they needed a vest, lifeguards watched the kids during the swim, they have a slide into the pool, staff was friendly and kind to kids. They allow outside food and drink to be brought in for the party. It was a great time for the kids and nice for parents to be able to get a free minute knowing lifeguards are on duty. There was a sitting area in the lobby with a large window to be able to see your kids in the pool space.

Took our 2 year old to her first swim lessons here and was really impressed with the curriculum and facilities! I love that these are evening classes in a warm pool that make going to classes in the summer much more enjoyable. Pricing is a little confusing, as the pamphlets vs the website on swim classes are misleading. The pamphlets they offer give the monthly prices where classes span 2-3 months and the website gives the class prices per course. You almost have to talk to someone in person to understand it. We are doing a 2 week trial run and unsure if we will continue primarily due to cost. It is by far the most expensive lessons we've found in Omaha. For our 2 year old she loved it. They had creative was for getting her comfortable in the water, worked on getting out of the pool on her own, floating on her back and blowing bubbles. I loved how they eased her into it. She hates water on her head ar bath time, but the peer pressure and methods they use got her dumping water on her head at the start (not on her face but she will get there).

My kids really enjoyed their lessons here. That was not always the case in the past. More importantly, their skills grew by leaps and bounds over the last 3 months compared to the annual classes they previously took at the high school.

I absolutely love the school and Ms Lauren. She has taught my 4 year old for 1.5 years and has done an absolutely amazing job. She has taught my on all aspects of swimming, including water/pool safety. So important. I could not be more pleased. I would recommend the school, and Ms Lauren, to anyone and everyone. Wow!
