Swimtastic Swim School - Lincoln

First pool exposure for my 10month old and he loved it. The instructors are kind and patient. Their baby classes definitely improved my sons confidence in the water

My two boys are growing up at Swimtastic, and I couldn't be happier. Their staff is patient and knowledgeable, and in nearly four years of lessons--for boys ranging in ages 6 months to 5 years--we have never once had a bad instructor. Such is my confidence in their staff and training, that I have no hesitations when it comes time to start with a new instructor. The facilities are kept clean, comfortable, and safe. But most importantly, we have come to view the Swimtastic staff as friends and some of the best advocates for my children's growth and development, both in and out of the pool. At the end of the past 2 levels they put her in the "next class" which practiced easier skills than the previous. We always had to call and ask that she be placed within the appropriate advancing class. Their system of progression is confusing (1 intermediate is more advanced than beginner 3) and their own instructors seemed confused by the level progression. Her instructors never seemed to know which level she was currently in?? They don't build on skills very quickly for advanced swimmers. There is incredible turnaround between teachers, so we couldn't get any continuity. We can't wait to be done and go somewhere that is a better fit for our family. Disappointing and frustrating.
