This is an amazing place that is right on Main Street in St Paul, Nebraska. Good food, noon specials and breakfast options.AND.. don't miss the 1650 unique cookie jars on display!!!Great people, reasonable prices and good food.

Great food with friendly service. Sunday buffet was excellent with three meats and real mash potatoes. Homemade pies to top things off. Yesterday I had the brisket sandwich which was excellent. The unique collection of cookie jars makes the experience one to remember. Don't miss this gem if in the St Paul, NE area.

Knowing lots of farm towns in the state of Nebraska have their own family-owned restaurants, the Sweet Shoppe of St. Paul, Nebraska is one good place for any small farm town family-owned restaurant. Not only the food that is served, but seeing their huge collection of their cookie jars inside. Over 1,200 different cookie jars. They also sell homemade cookies, pies, jars of jam or jelly, and loafs of bread. It's worth checking out.

I've been going to Alice's restaurant since I was a baby. It's always great food and great people. When my sister was little she used to call it the Bluegoose if you're ever around St. Paul it's definitely a must try place

they were rude and put my egg on top of my pancake for no reason with plenty of room on the plate. the coffee is awful and they made me feel stupid for asking for cold coffee. the bread is weird too. just not a place to go if you're looking for a good breakfast.
