Sweet Magnolias Bake Shop - Millwork

We stopped in for a quick mommy and me date last week and we plan to come back again soon! The staff were diligently working away, and it was fun to see them kneading and shaping the next pastries for the day. We had a little bit of trouble locating the shop, as we entered from the north side facing the Hello apartments instead of the South door that enters right into the bakery. BUT all was well, because we came for coffee, too ha! The pastry we chose was a very sizable almond knot - delightfully sweet, nutty, and truly just fun to eat!I love how much Millwork has shaped up into a delightful little array of businesses, and this was a great way to spend a morning!

I went here for the first time today and it was amazing. It was so cute inside. They had thrifted clothes, branded tees, and other crocheted goodies in addition to all of their baked goods. I got the Nutella brownie which I've heard is only available sometimes. It was SO good. I get why it's so hyped. I'm really excited to try more things. The person working was really friendly. I'll be a repeat customer for sure.

After years and years of seeing and cheering for Sweet Mags I finally got to stop into the Millwork location. So many yummy goodies were on display. Two lovely bakers were working hard in the back, but also gave me a good run down of the treats. I ordered 3 of the cookie sandwiches, all unique flavors. I did not care how hard the cookies were. I've had other bakers cookies sandwiches that are easy to bite into, and I was put off by how hard the cookies were, all three varieties. I may try another item next time, the bars looks absolutely delicious! Can't wait to try more items.

Wowzers. This lil cardamom bun is the most delightful piece of heaven. If I had the time I'd tell you a million dreamy details of how this edible artwork delighted me. If you arrive at 7am, they might still be warm, which is its own treasure.

Stopping in for some sweets at the Sweet Magnolias Bake Shop! A new addition in the developing North Downtown area this little shop is delightful!There are plenty of creative goodies in this shop that offer healthy options too. Service is pleasant and efficient, pricing is very reasonable. A pleasant common area is available to relax over your bakery selection and conveniently located next to Archetype Coffee.Recommend that you stop by to check out this bakery!

Gorgeous place to do some work or studying with the best treats! They are open when the other Sweet Magnolia's location is closed and they have cardamom knots! I also love the cinnamon rolls.

Everything we had was simply delicious! You can't go wrong! They have a wide array of baked goods to choose from, even vegan and gluten free options. Everyone can find something to enjoy!

We got a few sweet things and a sun dried tomato scone, and all of it was delicious. Everything tasted so fresh and the service was wonderful. The bakery is very cute and has an entrance to a common area with plenty of chairs, a wall that shows videos of art, and music. The common area is connected to many other businesses that are a part of the building, including a couple cafes, a restaurant, and an art gallery. My only issue is parking. I struggled finding parking as there is only street parking, so I parked a couple blocks down the street. Of course this is not at the fault of Sweet Mags. This place is a hidden gem and I look forward to visiting again soon!

New location, same great baked goods.This location is definitely less busy and it didn't have quite as many options as the main location, but it was still phenomenal. It's on the backside of millworks, behind kros strain. This area is definitely shaping up to be a great new spot in Omaha.I recommend the cardamom knot and the savory scones, those are always my go to. The brownie bars are also a favorite at our house.A must try, it won't disappoint!
