Surf Motel

It is pretty clean, we got a decent weekly rate too. The staff is very friendly and the place was quiet. It seems that they are upgrading the property weekly.The Surf is one of the very few places that actually gave us clean towels and removed our trash daily. This is where I would stay anytime I'm in Marysville.

I believe this is just the "Surf Motel." It's not, I think, a Best Western. But the phone number matches. Hey, I'd stayed at a Best western in Dansville IL the night before at about twice the price, and the surf motel was better. The pillows and climate control were better than that Best Western on a hot day. It was an extremely comfortable stay. I usually like the rooms where you drive up in front of the room -- but all of those were sold out (I think to contract workers.) I took a room inside the corridors near the front desk and it was just great. (Yeah, there's a sonic burger nearby -- and that's good food; but there's a great Mexican restaurant - El Ranchero - down the street. Marysville is a great town. Go to the Koestler house

would not recommend this motel, better to consider the travelodge down the street. a lot of contract workers at this motel and would not stay here again. only a sonic burger place to eat that was not clean either.
