Surestay Plus Hotel By Best Western Grand Island

Check in was easy and the front desk person was nice. We had a goodie bag waiting for us on the table in the room. The room was bigger than expected! Very clean overall! I highly recommend.

The facility was very clean and pleasant. The handicap room was perfect for me with my limited mobility. The bathroom was large. The walk in shower made it so safe & easy! Bars were well located within the shower & around the toilet. The staff were all nice, from the front desk to the housekeepers. Great stay!

I'm a volunteer firefighter and have stayed here for a few years for Fire school. 2022 I called to add two days before school so I could do some sightseeing. When I got there there was no reservation for me. Then this year, 2023, I personally went to the hotel to add the reservation so I had a room and didn't have to change rooms because of their mistake. But received the bill and they had charged me for the day I stopped in to make the reservation and charged me for May 19 and another charge for May 20! After asking for the manager to call me, but never did I finally called to ask for her. Then she said she would have to do some checking and would call me back she never did. So I had to call her again and she said it would take a while to credit my account so for the extra night it cost me $206.56. I will never stay there again! Fire department is to pay for two nights not me. I will let my fire chief of my department know and the Fire school.
