Traveled from California to attend my daughter's college graduation and unfortunately had to stay in this horrible place. Seward is a beautiful small town but if you're coming here do yourself a favor and avoid this place. It would be cleaner and safer to sleep in your car.

Horrible place dirty carpets the toilet in the room had Feces the tub was dirty but the manager Stacy was fantastic let us check out and gave us our refund. At these times with Covid I couldn't believe how unsanitary this place was being a nurse on the road back from a job going to NY wasn't taking any chances at this filthy place no matter how tired I was.

God awful hotel. Driving up you can just tell you will not have a good time during your stay. One side of the place is blue and looks a little better, and the other side is swimming in weeds and looks like something out of Bates Motel. I would not doubt it if people have died in this place. As SOON as you walk in the room it reeks of cigarettes and urine. NON SMOKING room had an ash tray in it. Looked and smelled as if not a single person cleaned that room for at LEAST a year. If I was able to I would give this horrendous place 0 stars. The only good thing about it is that there is a Walmart across the street where we bought our own sheets and pillows because the pillows here were stained yellow, the mattresses had blood spots and burn holes, the floors had endless stains in it, and there is most definitely bugs living in these beds. If you end up here BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS. You're probably better off sleeping in your car.

We were passing through Seward on our way to Denver. It was July 4th so we decided to stay the night and watch fireworks. Sunset Inn and Suites was the only hotel found in town close to the fireworks. It's a small town so I didn't expect much from this hotel; however, I was pleasantly surprised. While it is small and old it was very clean and everything worked just fine. The only thing that could be improved is the staff's knowledge of the area. We came for this huge July 4th festival but the gentleman that checked us in had never been there and couldn't give us any tips. Overall, we would stay here again if we take another road trip that way.

This hotel was less than what I expected. When we arrived the room was clean. Monday we came back to our room from visiting family our beds were not made and we weren't given adequate number of towels since there were three guests staying in the room.

Stayed there with my 2 teenage kids in August, en route from Denver to Mpls. Hassle with booking - booked room w/2 beds but got room with 1 - but that was apparently Expedia's fault and they were able to straighten it out. Guy at front desk gave me # to call but was crabby, unfriendly, seemed unhappy to see us. At breakfast - my kids were glad to see they had a waffle maker, but there were no toppings! And the front desk was un-staffed. 1 saving grace - the Mexican restaurant next door to the motel is excellent, cheap & tasty food and friendly service unlike at the Sunset Inn!
