We are Papillion's Public Library!
Must read. Not as good as it used to be though.

I went in to acquire about library cards and was greeted upon entry. The two ladies were super friendly and assisted me as needed. I did a quick walk thru and noticed a large selection of books, magazines, etc. They had computers if needed and a large section for reading.

Nice and cool inside this cute little library in otherwise 90deg day outside. They have large selection of audio books (a big plus for traveling folks like us), an hour of direct internet access without signing in, lighting is good for book browsing or sitting with a good read on leather couch, staffs are nice and pleasant, and best of all; their WIFI blazing at 5G instead of typical 3G (if your device supports it)

Beautiful library. We wish it was a part of the Omaha Public Library system. It is peaceful with lots of reading areas. We found many books that look interesting but will try to track them down the OPL. The teen room has ample seating and good choices for books. The children's section is large with a wide variety of books, toys, etc.

I've been using this library for 13 years and always enjoy it. When I was a full time college student the study rooms were perfect! My kids loved the children's area when they were younger and over the years as our needs and interests have changed Sump Library has continued to be a favorite spot of mine. Our family is out of city limits so we pay the fee to join which I have no problem with and completely understand given how taxes work.

Noisy school children after 3:20 pm have been a constant problem here in the past, and now they have reared their untrained heads here once again. Unfortunately for me, I decided to use the library this Thursday afternoon, and at the moment there are 3 or 4 boys (who seem to cause problems every time I see them) once again talking loudly, laughing loudly, and managing to talk on their smartphones. They like to congregate near the back corners usually the east/ or northeast side. Of course, as usual, they have done all this easily, since the library staff here hasn't noticed at ALL for over 50 minutes of constant disruption! Please wake up, dear employees!

The library in Papillion is a great place to go to read magazines and newspapers. Their computers are slow and sometimes broke, but worth a shot. The parking lot is small and congested.

We have a Papillion address and can't go to the Papillion library because we are in a SID or something? I'm hoping this will make even just a tiny impact to the library to make a change about this. The library itself is nice, but to pay SO much money to enjoy a library? I wish it could be changed so anyone with a Papillion address can go to the Papillion library. Seems fair right? Because my children don't have a library at all to go to that's free like everyone else. :(
