Sultan’s Kite

Terrible. They tried but just missed the mark. Lots of msg and the headache hit me within an hour. First the menu is just terrible. Freshness?? Nope. And no tahini sauce. A blend of Tzatziki sauce w hot mild or plain. A mess. Had the gyro = processed and then recooked and refried The falafel totally dry and previously frozen. The sauces are off. This is not Mediterranean ! It has a blend of fusion of Indian , Greek , Turkish? Middle East and coming from Chicago comparison I guess it's ok for this small town.

We stopped here for lunch by chance and based on the good reviews. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day but the food was underwhelming. The roasted potatoes were under cooked and still a bit raw. Also they were tasteless and I've had Greek roasted potatoes all over including Greece and these wee a one star. The only decent dish was the gyros which I'm sure they get elsewhere and simply heat up. The lentil soup was average but edible. I suppose for Lincoln this gets a higher rating from people but compared to any larger city or country I'm being generous with 3 stars.

We've experienced consistent good quality in food and service.The food is delicious, well seasoned (not over), hot, and fresh. Service is fast, friendly, and accurate.The menu is simple, so it's easy to understand, and it facilitates easy ordering.We recommend chicken shawarma or gyro rice bowl with white taziki (or red taziki for medium spicy).

Sultan's Kite is a delicious stop in Lincoln. I really enjoyed the chicken shawarma salad with all the sauces and would definitely be a regular if I lived nearby!

A focused menu of Mediterranean favorites, Sultan's Kite is a great place to go if you're in the mood for Shwarma, Gyros, or Falafel. They also serve Chicken Tikka Korma. And that's it. Kinda like chipotle in terms of how ordering works (pick your style, meat, sauce, and toppings). A pita with any of the above meats could be sufficient for a meal, but a side and/or dessert is probably a good idea if you are a big eater. Their baklava was good but not great. Kinda heavy, not very flaky.We had a larger group of 6 adults and 2 kids and arrived at 630 on a Friday, right in the middle of a rush. This caused a bit of a traffic jam, but it all worked out in the end.I've been to both the downtown and this location, and the south location certainly provides more accessible parking.

We discovered this gem in south Lincoln and we keep finding reasons to drive thru. Gyro and Chicken Tikka are favorites. Plenty of food for the price. The option to choose how your entree is served is a nice feature. Consistency m would be an area for improvement. Sometimes salad is overdressed or potato wedges are undercooked. Not enough to keep us away but attention to detail would earn a 5.

Service was excellent and patient while I stopped to take an important call. Very kind, very nice employee. Hummus and lentil soup were too notch, felafel was acceptable. Spotlessly clean and the employee was cleaning while I was on the phone.

Great Greek food. Sauces are all good and meat seems to be pretty fresh. Always good service.

I have only used the drive-thru but the food is just delicious and reasonably priced. Portions are generous and the wait time is minimal. The staff is very friendly and willing to modify an order, if necessary. Highly recommend.

BEST GYROS! Sultans kite is a must try! Pita or naan with white and red sauce. I usually go inside and it's always great service. I highly recommend this place, the food looks very fresh and is considerably healthy.
