A pretty park in the middle of Aksarben. Over the last nearly 12ish years, it's remained relatively the same. With some additions like parks, and more festivals. I've attended events here since 2013 as I lived in the Village. You can find conerts, zumba, yoga, etc all in the park. It's fun to bring the kids and let them run around. There is a lot of play space and open greenery. It's a beautiful park with trails connecting to the Papio. Very worth it to make a day of it and bring a blanket and enjoy the views.

A perfect little park adjacent to Aksarben shopping center's booming presence of gym, movie theatre, bars, restaurants, bakeries, and professional businesses. It gives the already growing neighborhood a green oasis for dogs, recreational sports, local events (farmers market and concerts) and just plain relaxing. I have seen the park put to good use often, and I am glad there is a green patch in the middle of a busy city atmosphere.

This review isn't for the park, but for the HORSE.Omaha the Triple Crown Winner is memorialized here. He used to be buried at the racetrack but the people in charge lost his body when they tore the track down. JerksDefinitely a quick 5 min spot for those who love horses and quirky.

Here for Beer fest!! We seen approximately 80 tents with samples!! Every tent had spokespeople who knew exactly what they were serving!! Very professional & yet relaxing! The Live band Outlaws was playing! Always good times with music drinks & sunshine! Lots of friendly people. Seen new & old friends! This is the place to be!

Since this is just about the park it would be about 4.5 stars as a venue. Many things happen here and not one of them has been bad. From Beer Fests and Farmer's Markets to craft cocktails and MAHA. This has been just right for me. The stage has a great reverb from the nearby AkSarBen Village and the size is right for about 1K people. I don't understand the phallic obelisk , but I never claimed to be a designer. All in all, it is a great park with wonderful events that bring residents closer and provides a safe area for entertainment. Plenty of options for food within walking distance and a bouncy safe play area for kids, too. I just wish the restrooms were not so far away. it feels like a long trek when you have poorly timed your needs

This is probably my favorite park in Omaha, especially during the summer! It seems like you're never bored if you go here. On Saturdays during the summer there is a free concert from 7-10pm and the bands are usually pretty good. On Sundays the Aksarben farmers market is right next door and they hold free Zumba or Yoga classes near the stage. There are also several paid events that seem to happen as well. I've been to BrewHaHa! twice now, Artsarben, and several others I don't remember the names to (oops!). For kids, this place is great. The equipment is well maintained and great quality. I adore the soft foam like cement stuff under the playground equipment. The big tower also has several water jets that spray up and giving a great reprieve from summer heat. I must admit many a times playing in them myself... as an adult. Convenient places to sit down an eat, a covered area, a stage to play on when empty and bathrooms right by. Yep this is awesome.

Stinson Park is a great spot to spread out and relax. There are plenty of benches to plop down on and soak in some sun. There's a large playground for the kiddos to enjoy. Plus an expansive green and bandshell used for countless events throughout the year. And that's just it. Stinson Park is at its best hosting thousands of people at or music festival or giant beer garden. This area (Aksarben Village) is ripe with development and fast becoming more dense and vibrant as the years progress. And Stinson will only become a more desirable place for festivals and large events in the future. I'm good with that!On another note, I wonder what's inside that giant obelisk.

When I bought my house within a mile from here back in July 2011, I knew the area was growing and expanding but now I'm just pleased and amazed by how much it has. I love taking my dog to the park and walking around "the circle" when the weather is nice. They also provide quality poop bags for clean up. The area is always clean even after big events which they host a lot of these days. The free outdoor concerts are a great weekend option as is the Farmer's Market which I attend almost every week. The restaurants, shop and theater are an added bonus. I've heard people complain about the parking but I love the free parking garage and have never had trouble, even during Corporate Cup Run. Aksarben Village's tagline "where there is always something fun going on!" is spot on! So glad to live in this part of Omaha.

Stinson Park is one of my favorite areas in Omaha! Summers are definitely the best in Stinson Park, from their Saturday night concert series to their Sunday Farmer's Market and fitness in the park (yoga and Zumba). Best all--it's all free...and free parking!! The Aksarben area around the park has plenty of parking with no meters in sight and no time limits. The area around Stinson Park has really grown in the 5 years I've lived in Omaha. It's amazing to see all the new things going up in the area. Definitely check out a restaurant before visiting the park. The park has a nice sidewalk that goes around it, so it's great for riding bikes or taking a walk. Kids also love visiting the playground area or playing in the splash pad. If you haven't already, go check out this neat park!
