The guys at Stereo West Autotoys (Omaha) are AWESOME ! - I went to have my front and rear dash cams install in my vehicle and they gave me an excellent installation price for bringing my own equipment. They have much better price for installation if you purchase the equipment in house.They guys were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable... I was quickly pleased with some of the alternate suggestions they offered.Fortunately while we were talking, I mentioned a little dissatisfaction with the quality of the equipment I had and they offered a much better product. I returned the cams I purchased from Best Buy and went back to Stereo West Autotoys (Omaha) and order the cameras that we discussed. Unfortunately, they had to order the new cameras but its worth the wait for a system that's 100% better with no additional cost. I will have to update this review once the installation is complete.The store is decked out with every little thing that you could imagine for your vehicle. Tint, stereos, speakers, various electronic gadgets, automatic starter kits, rims.... You name it, THEY HAVE IT, or they can get it for you!

I can't begin to describe how disappointing my experience has been at Stereo West. Not completely honest about the product being sold, installation issues that resulted in my vehicle needing repairs at my primary mechanic they refuse to take ownership of, and poor attitude when confronted about those issue.One mechanic guy was very nice and helpful. I wish I had gotten his name. But the rest of them, including the salesman are not people you should be trusting with your business.Go literally anywhere else.Also, after reading other reviews I know they will think of some response "professional" to this to try and push ownership of the issues off of them instead of just apologizing and taking ownership of their errors.

THIS IS A ZERO STAR REVIEW:Complaints have been filed to the Pioneer USA Support Center (informing them of how one of their authorized dealers is sending out their product) and also the Better Business Bureau. I'm beyond disgusted with this company. I was lied to on the date my car stereo was being sent. As time went on this caused me me a lot of stress with hours on the phone with UPS regarding a tracking number 'that didn't even exist because it was given to me incorrectly.'I filed a billing dispute with American Express as I honestly didn't think tmy car stereo had ever been sent.But the most important thing to relay here and beware future customers, in the 21 countries that I've lived in or visited I've never had a package sent to me where they use the original (in this case the Pioneer stereo) box, turn it inside out, cover it in tape and then send it the customer.So upon opening the box you have no option but to destroy it because it's covered in brown tape and it turns into a complete mess.I'm sorry but I've always kept my boxes so that when I sell something down the road it can be sold with the original box. Mentioning this on the phone, Darrell's attitude was, 'You'll have to turn it inside out man.'What a way to run a business, I'm sorry but I'm completely appalled at how this company runs its business. Such a lack of care towards a customer's product, especially opening up YOUR BOX after you've placed your order and then turning the box inside out and putting the contents back inside again, unacceptable!

Maybe the absolute WORST service that I have EVER received from a business in my life. Here is my experience:Made an appointment for window tint and Apple car play install for my vehicle a week in advance.Dropped my car off the night before and they quoted me $110 for the tint and a few hours labor at $80 per hour for the Apple CarPlay install. At 11:45AM they called and said the car was ready. I thought that was a little too quick so I called back and asked did they install the Apple Car Play. They said they forgot/didn't know it was supposed to be done. Then the guy said "well it will be a few more hours but we will get it done today". At 6:30pm I call and they say that it will be done before "they go home". At 7:45pm a "manager" calls me and says "hey, my guys are working on other stuff...we aren't gonna get to it tonight but we will get to it tomorrow". I then ask "do you promise that it will be done tomorrow"...he says "yes, it will be done tomorrow".So, at 130PM I call them and I speak with an assistant manager named Ryan. He tells me and this is word for word "hey, we aren't gonna get to it today but I can schedule it for after Christmas". I tell him "I was promised that it would be done today". I ask to speak to the manager from last night and he places me on hold. He then tells me that he can't come to the phone because he is with another customer. He then proceeds to tell me that it is not getting done but he's trying to "help me" by scheduling it for after Christmas. After me telling him that I'm in a wheelchair and that it is hard to get the car to them, he says "well if you don't like it, you can come pick up your car and take it somewhere else"This is the most disrespectful place I have ever been to. Do NOT take your vehicle there for ANYTHING. The way they treat their customers is disgraceful.

Took my new motorhome in because I wanted Sirius installed.. when the installation was finished I pointed out to them that my passenger interior door panel was cracked. They said it was already broke when they started.. it had 400 hundred miles on it. Ford tells me that it is a $700 repair. Also the Sirius radio cuts in and out. Not the correct antennae or location.

I have had a remote starter which was installed by Stereo West in my 2009 Honda CRV for about ten years. It has worked great. A couple of times after six or so years, the remote fob quit working, I took it in and they fixed it right away with not charge. Last month, the fob pretty much fell apart after some many years of use, drops, etc. It is so old that SW advised me to look online for a replacement fob. I did and took it to them to get it programmed. They did so right away and it works perfectly. They could have told me that it couldn't be fixed and that I would need a whole new remote system, but they did not. I appreciate their excellent service.
