Stephenson Truck Repair

I am happy to give Stephenson truck repair a five star review. If I could give a 10 star, they would get it. Just this week after the interment of my husbands, family ashes to the national cemetery in Omaha we became stranded in Lincoln with mechanical issues. We have a 1988 heavy truck"RV" we travel in because we have two great big German shepherd dogs that we call the security team.We had been turned down for repair identification by several different types of truck repair mechanics. When the young men at Stephenson's had the opportunity to review our issues, they were able to come up with clearly genius ideas to get us back on the road again at a very emotional time for us. They work hard ,use their time wisely, and affordable. They kept us abreast of each new idea as we decided to move forward, then sideways, then a head once again. The quality of their workmanship is obvious, as we are now moving back home with renewed power .Big hats off to Kenny and Troy. You will be in our prayers and our gratitude forever. If you need help out there, you owe it to yourself to call them. I would add that as traveling people in their 70s having a young man like Troy work on your vehicle, made us wish that there was a creative mechanic list of folks like him in every state.Thanks again!!!

Nicest folks you could ask to meet. I had an issue with my truck while visiting Lincoln. They really didn't have time on a busy Friday to take me, but did it anyway. My vehicle definitely was not safe but now I can drive home with confidence. Thank you Kenny and John. It's such a blessing to meet good folks like y'all, especially when adventuring in unfamiliar places.

We had a trip planned in our travel trailer and a couple of days before we left, we were making sure things were in order. One of the lug nuts was loose and we found that the stud it goes on was missing. A friend recommended Stephensons, and we called them. They were able to take our trailer in right away, and they fixed the problem and also made sure all of the other lug nuts were good! We appreciated their being able to fix it right away, and that they checked all of the remaining lug nuts. Otherwise we would have had to cancel our trip. We were very pleased with all aspects, their customer service, the work done, and the pricing! We will definitely use them again, and we highly recommend the business.

We've taken our RV in to Stephensons twice for different issues and been extremely impressed both times. Adam both dealt with the issues in a timely fashion and got it back to us quickly. Cost was reasonable both times. Thank you, Adam!

This is the 3rd Lincoln truck repair shop we have used since we bought our delivery business in 2021. The other two places either did poor work or failed to communicate with us properly about what was going on with repairs/costs. Stephenson's was amazing!!! We had an engine blow out of one of our delivery trucks and they called continuously to update us on progress/parts/cost and made sure we knew what to expect for an eta in getting the truck back. They took care of us an gave us a great deal on the repair. They even refunded us for the engine core that was originally billed as part of the engine after they audited the bill that we had already paid in full, which many shops would have not told us about and we would not have noticed. Thank you so much!!! We will be back for future repairs.

BEWARE!!!! Horrible mechanics do not know what they are doing. Estimate turned out to be more money ($70.00 MORE) when I picked my truck up. Then I had to return because the repair was misdiagnosed. Then got charged again and it still is not fixed. If you bring in your truck, expect to pay more than the estimate. And then it probably won't be fixed right because these guys do not know what they are doing.

Bad service. Mechanics are not certified and they claim that one of the mechanics has a BS degree in Electrical which is not true. No diagnostic equipment. Estimates always turn out to be more money. They have misdiagnosed my truck issue and this is when I found out they guessed at what the problem was because they do not have diagnostic equipment. There was no one there several times when I came in during regular business hrs.

took a truck in to Stephenson's for the same thing 3 times, spent $2000and the truck still didn't run. took it to another shop and got it fixed.

These guys are great to work with! Honest and they really care about their customers!
