I stumbled across this sweet little place . If you blink, you'll miss it. It's right on the corner of South Main Street. I popped in for a little something to eat.. it's all kinds of sweet little gem, in a town that is trying to re-do its self. Sat at a table to order, prompt and friendly staff. Ordered the Statesmen- on a croissant- came with an interesting side salad and a cup of coffee. $13 I think is what I paid. Worth every penny - Sandwich was full of flavor- or the chicken salad was. The croissant wasn't anything special, and the side salad aka dessert was something I've never had before- apples, grapes, nuts and snickers with a whip of some sort. How fun and silly, plus the coffee was a perfect cup of good old coffee. I'd recommend this quaint little spot- sit and just absorb all the nuance.

Great food and menu selection. Cute food presentation. Great service. Must try the attached bakery that is just as cute with great selection of delicious pastries. Highly recommend. Suggest you make reservation.

This was one of the highlights of our brief stop in Council Bluffs. We walked here after seeing the Squirrel Cage Prison nearby. The proprietor was so friendly and accommodating. We had coffee with some homemade baked goods from the adjacent bakery. Then we ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant to go. It was amazing and came with assorted fresh fruit. Meeting friendly people is part of the joy of travel and this place made our day!

We make it a priority to support local businesses in our travels and this definitely did not disappoint! A quaint little boutique and breakfast/coffee shop in one. The people are friendly and the food was delicious. We enjoyed visiting with the owner and baker/previous owner. My husband had the Cordon Bleu Crepes with a bearnaise sauce he just raved about! I had Quiche Lorraine. Delish. We bought a berry scone to go and let's just say it was huge and so delicious. If you are ever in the area this is a must!
