Stauffer's Cafe & Pie Shoppe

Authentic home cooked meals with the best pie you can imagine. So many choices for dinner and so many choices for dessert. You cannot go wrong with selecting this place for your breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Or if you just wantA dessert, I highly recommend this location. When I am back visiting from Florida, this is a place I come a few times. I love the hot beef sandwich. Reminds me of my Mom and Grandma's home cooking. The coconut cream pie is one of the best I have had. Although I have had multiple flavors and all are amazing.

We ate lunch here every chance we can because the food is solid good comfort food at a great price. It is the cleanest restaurant around and gives fast service.

If a restaurant delivers exactly what you expect it to, you give in five stars. It is, and I did. There is nothing fancy here, no talk of "kicking it up a notch". It is simply good, old fashioned, honest, unpretentious American fare. Go there and feed your memories.

It's a diner, for better or worse. The food is fine, nothing is great or terrible and not over/under priced. The coffee is strong. Breakfast is best. It's at its best before 8am, when all the local regulars are in trading stories about the good ol days and the waitresses know everyone's name. Basically, you know exactly what you're getting with a diner. You either like it or you don't.

I love a good diner. Good portions and selection. We had pie, but honestly the meals were better than the pies we chose. Sadly, the pecan rolls were sold out. The Hot beef was delicious and so was the BLT. Prices were a bit high for a diner, but I would still come back if in the area.

Nice simple small town feeling cafe, our waitress was fast and friendly, we went for breakfast, decent menu nothing fancy just nice and simple, hearty portions to get the fuel going on the morning, overall decent experience, I probably won't be back for breakfast but might try lunch or a slice of pie next time.

Great food and great service. Highly recommended!!! When in Lincoln a must do food experience.

the omelets come with one slice of cheese slapped right in the middle, gravy is salty as hell and the butter is gritty

The Pie Shoppe makes an absolutely great banana cream pie. Normally the pie is served with a cream topping. They made one special for me with a meringue top. Just like grandma used to make. Breakfast is great also.

The food rizzed me up. The waiter had a level 10 gyatt. If you come you must try the Dutch apple pie
