Springfield Drug

Super cute lil mom-and-pop shop smack down Main Street. Springfield may be a small town, but the people have big hearts! My friends and I came here to do a photo shoot for the city. My friend is redoing their marketing and wanted some models for a couple of photos in the iconic soda shop. The place itself is old. You won't walk in and find only a soda bar. The rest of the place is a mismatched drugstore with random cards and items to sell. The soda bar is so cute. The counter has barstool chairs for people to sit (be careful, they are a little rickety!) to chat and order. In front of the bar is a few tables and chairs to sit and chat. This section reminds me more of the blast from the past. The rest of the drugstore side kind of kills the luster.Keith, the owner, is an absolute gem! He sat and talked with us for a half an hour. He is so incredibly sweet. I asked him what his favorite part about his job is and he said, "You!" That sums Keith up so well. He loves interacting with customers and getting to know new people. He says that's what gets him out of bed and into work every day.The management is sweet, which makes the treats and overall lure of the place sweeter. Check it out for a real conversation and real people.

The place was great and hospitality just as much. Keith the owner was super friendly and took the time to talk with our kids and explain the history of his store. Price was just right for a family of 5.

The owner is extremely friendly and so easy to talk to! Perfect stop to make coming to or from Schramm Park. Very inexpensive ice cream too. I got the brownie sundae and a friend of mine got the clown sundae, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. I can't wait to come back!

Great little place. Was a bank in 1905 and still has the vault door. Real pharmacy but with lots of antiques throughout. Old time soda bar and great ice cream. Owners are super friendly. Fun little place.

Great small-town business! You can go in, get your prescription filled, and have ice cream at the old fashioned soda fountain! Keith's antiques and attention to detail are amazing!

Super nostalgic building, complete with the old bank safe and marble counters. Stop by at least once to take a picture with the Simpson family :)

Love this place! The people who own it are great and super-friendly. They'll special order anything you need that they don't carry. The kids love getting ice cream at the soda fountain.

it was a horrible experience the lady working scammed me out of my money. I gave her a 20 dollar bill for 2 shakes not realizing that she only gave me two dollars back. I called once I realized and asked how much two shakes were and she responded with "14 dollars for two shakes". therefore she either took my two dollars for her job or took it as a free tip and trust me. I do not give out free tips.

Always friendly. Excellent ice cream parlor. Small town atmosphere. Springfield is lucky to have his establishment.

Old town pharmacy/ convenience store with great atmosphere and better staff and personable service. I don't use the pharmacy but I do get milk shakes!Just got a chocolate shake and it significantly was better than other ice cream chains I was impressed. It's an old time ice cream bar that kids will like and the staff is super friendly. Go get a shake if your out there, fun small town dessert! Close at 6 on weekdays a little later on weekends (not sure)...be sure to check before going all that way!
