Speedway Properties

I would never recommend renting from a Speedway Properties location ever again after living at Telegraph Lofts for 3 years. The property itself is alright but overpriced for what it is. The management, on the other hand, is absolutely unacceptable. In the beginning, when apartment hunting, they were perfectly responsive. However, once I was a resident, it was nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone. To avoid paying extensive fees to pay our rent in their online portal, I would drop off a check to their office. However, that process resulted in me needing to stop by their office several times a day for 3+ days until someone was finally there. Considering that they claim to be in office M-F 8-5, this is a ridiculous issue. I feel that my husband and I are about as responsible as any property owner could ask for. They threatened to evict us over an issue instead of simply asking us to fix it. Then, I called the property manager, Terra, at least five times over the following two weeks to discuss the issue, but she never answered or called back. Her phone number is placed on paper that management hung up all over the building, I really would have expected her to answer. I could go on about issues we had with them for pages.
